The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times. b. It shall make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and facial images of the purchasers of the alcohol. c. The CCTV recordings shall show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made and d. all images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days. e. CCTV recordings shall be made available for viewing by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person upon demand. f. The original, or a copy, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person. g. Copies to be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software. h. No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
A 'Challenge 25' policy shall be used at these premise at all times. All customers attempting to purchase alcohol who appear to be under the age of 25 shall be required to produce a valid proof of age. Acceptable forms of identification are a proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo, a photo UK driving licence or a passport. Notices to this affect shall be displayed at the premises.
An electronic till prompt shall be used when alcohol is scanned through the tills to remind staff to check the age of the purchaser.
A refusals book or similar system shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempt to purchase by a young customer has been refused. This book or similar system must be made available as soon as reasonably practicable for inspection by any Police officer, Police Community Support Officer or authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
Staff shall receive regular training on the prevention of under age sales of alcohol. Such training shall take place immediately on induction and repeated thereafter at twice per year. This training shall be recorded and these records shall be provided as soon as reasonably practicable upon request to any Police officer, Police Community Support Officer or authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
That no alcohol shall be displayed within a three (3) metre radius of the entrance.
Signs shall be displayed inside and outside of the premises warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under the age of eighteen (18).
No deliveries shall take place between the hours of 23:00 hours and 06:00 hours on the following day.
