Staff training shall be undertaken on staff appointment and updated every 12 months.
Training delivered to staff shall be recorded. Training shall cover: ii. The requirements for ID as part of age verification. iii. Dealing with an intoxicated person, or a drug related incident. iv. Dealing with disorderly incidents/disorderly persons v. Recording of any refusal to sell alcohol. vi. Recording of incidents vii. Safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults viii. Reporting of incidents to police and information to be shared with police to promote • All training records will be available to an authorised officer on request. • We have our own H&S company who provide staff training • CCTV shall be installed on the premises showing correct date and time information.
The CCTV will cover the internal licensed areas, the entrance doorway and the smoking area. The CCTV shall provide images of good quality in all lighting conditions and shall capture frontal images of people entering the premises. The premises licence holder must ensure the CCTV is in good order and regularly maintained and that staff are able to make copies available at the request of the Police or other authorised officer on request. CCTV footage must be retained for a minimum of 28 days. CCTV will record on a 30-day cycle in HD Quality
An incident log shall be maintained on the premises documenting the date and time of any incidents involving the premises which could undermine the four licensing objectives. This shall be completed within 24 hours of the incident, be available upon request of a police officer or an authorised officer and will record the following: i. All crimes reported at the venue. ii. Any incidents of disorder occurring at the venue. iii. The venue shall maintain a log of persons barred from the premises.
Customers who become loud in the restaurant are asked to calm down or they will have to leave, any customer who gets to this stage is refused anymore alcohol
There shall be a record of any refused sale of alcohol. The refusal register shall be inspected on a regular basis (at least monthly) by the DPS or duty manager.
