Licence conditions (13)

The supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises must be made at a time when the premises are open for the purposes of supplying alcohol, in accordance with the club premises certificate, to members of the club for consumption on the premises.
Any alcohol supplied for consumption off the premises must be in a sealed container.
Any alcohol supplied for consumption off the premises must be made to a member of the club in person.
For the purpose of paragraph 18(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 this club premises certificate is subject to the effect of restrictions contained in the Licensing Act 1964 and the Children and Young Persons Act 1933, which include, but may not be limited to, the following: i) Alcohol shall not be sold are supplied except during the hours authorised under this club premises certificate, however this restriction does not prohibit: a) During the first twenty minutes after the authorised hour, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises; b) During the first thirty minutes after authorised hours, the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied as ancillary to the meals; c) The supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing; and d) During the first twenty minutes after authorised hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel; ii) Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption with the meal and paid for together with the meal. iii) No child shall be employed: a) So long as he is under the age of fourteen years; b) To do any work other than light work; c) Before the close of school hours on any day on which he is required to attend school; d) Before seven o¿clock in the morning or after seven o¿clock in the evening on any day; e) For more than two hours on any day on which he is required to attend school; f) For more than two hours on any Sunday; g) Five hours in any day on which he is not required to attend school, and which is not a Sunday; h) For more than thirty-five hours or, if he is under the age of fifteen years, for more than twenty-five hours in any week in which he is not required to attend school; or i) For more than four hours in any day without a rest break of one hour
The premises shall operate in accordance with the ¿Challenge 21¿ scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that, whilst alcohol may be supplied or sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 21 years of age shall be required to provide ID. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the entrance to the premises and at the bar servery area and the only ID accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport c. UK photo driving licence d. other form of ID as agreed with the Licensing Authority
A refusals book shall be kept at the premises in which shall be recorded forthwith the time, date and circumstances under which any request for supply of alcohol by a young member or guest unable to produce proof of age has been refused. This book shall be made available for inspection by a Police officer, community support officer or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
All staff whose responsibilities include the supply or sale of alcohol shall receive regular training on the Challenge 21 scheme, the responsible supply/retailing of alcohol and the operation of the CCTV system. Such training shall be recorded and these records shall on request be made available to the Police, community support officer or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times when alcohol is being supplied or sold; b. make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and facial images of the purchasers of the alcohol; and c. show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made.
All CCTV images/recordings shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days and shall be made available for viewing by any police, community support or authorised Council officers upon demand.
An original, or a copy, of CCTV images/recordings shall be provided upon demand to any police, community support or authorised Council officers. Copies shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
No alcohol shall be supplied or sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason.
The premises shall operate in full compliance with the Club Rules at all times.
The club premises certificate is time limited to operate from the beginning of September each year until the end of April the following year.
