Bar and Restaurant.
The application mirrors the past premises licence for the same address named Barney's Bar and Restaurant.
Alcohol will be consumed in bar, restaurant and outside area at side of the building.
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder:
CCTV system with access to cameras remotely from a computer
Public Safety:
No glassware to be outside the building at the front, either by the front door or on the street.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance:
All doors and windows facing London Road and passage way to side of building shal be kept closed at all times during entertainment events except when acess is required to/from the premises.
Notices shall be displayed telling patrons to be quiet and respectful of residents when leaving.
A Noise limiter is on the music system so the music never goes too loud.
The Protection of children from harm:
A strict over 21's only in the evening for the consumption of alcohol.
Only passports and driving licence are excepted as a form of ID.
Condition police and applicant have agreed:
The Premises Licence Holder and the Designated Premises Supervisor shall ensure that the premises are equipped with a digital closed circuit television system, compatible with the requirement of the Hertfordshire Constabulary. The recordings of which will be made to a digital hard drive and retained for a minimum of 31 days. The recordings of the CCTV will be made available to Hertfordshire Constabulary, Local Authority Licensing Officer or Trading Standards Officer, subject to the Data Protection Act. These recordings will be able to play instantly on a Personal Computer or a DVD player. There will be at least one staff member on duty at all times (when the premises is open) who is trained to use the CCTV system. Hertfordshire Constabulary and the Local Authority Licensing Officer will be notified (within 5 days) on any occasion when the premises CCTV system is inoperative.
Conditions agreed from Env & Health:
1) Music noise and noise from voices emanating from the premises shall be inaudible at any noise sensitive locations in the vicinity of 28-30 London Road at all times during a licensed event.
2) All doors and windows on the façade(s) facing London Road and the passageway to the side of the building, which is the subject of this consent, shall be kept closed at all times during the entertainment events, except when access is required to/from the premises.
3) Suitable and conspicuous notices shall be displayed at all entrances and exits, and in appropriate places outside the premises, requesting patrons to make the minimum noise when leaving.
4) A noise limiting device must be in proper use for the duration of any amplified entertainment event.
