In addition a bell will be provided to enable staff to be alerted and provide help to those with disabilities, push chairs or have any other problems in accessing the premises.,.
•The shop will meet the provisions of current legislation concerning public nuisance; •The shop will provide alcohol purchase only as part of it's retail and post office services to the community, there will be no significant increase in noise emanating from the premises. •Customers driving to the shop generally use the free car park located almost opposite the shop and post office; and •The shop opening times are well within the usually accepted periods for a new style post office and convenience store (07:00 to 20:00 Monday to Sunday).,.
•Alcohol stock will be placed on the upper shelves placing them out of the majority of children's direct sight lines and reach; •The shelving containing the alcohol will be within a direct sightline of the retail serving counter away from the post office counters; and •Any customer looking under the age of 21 will be asked for identification before purchase, this will bear a photograph and date of birth of the customer eg driving licence, passport etc;,.
