Licence conditions (21)

PPN Noise emanating from the premises as a result of both live and amplified music shall not exceed: NR40 between the hours of 0800 and 2100 and NR35 between the hours of 2100 and 0800 Monday to Sunday inclusive when measured 3m from the façade of the nearest noise sensitive use. All measurements shall be taken in accordance with BS.7445 parts 1, 2 and 3. PPN9 There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public (or member and their guests) notices pointing out the needs of local residents and the need to leave the premises and the area quietly. (Note: this may also include reference to vehicles.) PPN10 No explosive, firework or pyrotechnic shall be discharged in or from the premises which may cause a disturbance to the local area. Notice of a proposed event shall be served on the Council, the Chief Fire Officer, the Environmental Health Officer and the Chief Police Officer, not less than 28 days before the proposed date of any such event. Any such event shall be conducted in accordance with conditions or restrictions required by the Chief Fire Officer, the Environmental Health Officer and the Chief Police Officer. PPN 15 The playing of live or recorded music in garden areas and other external spaces of the premises is not permitted. PPN16 All fixed plant and equipment at the premises that produce significant levels of noise are fitted with appropriate means of noise suppression and are restricted in their use so as to minimise disturbance to any neighbouring noise sensitive premises. PPN18 There shall be no emission from the premises of any odour which is likely to cause a nuisance to nearby premises. The Main Entrance Hall enters into the Main Bar area and is in full view of the Steward/Bar Staff and Committee Members so all arrivals and departures are monitored.
Club Management, Steward and Bar Staff are informed of the Licensing Act 2003 objectives and statutory requirements to comply with all relevant provision of the Act.
Club constitution includes rules governing the conduct of members and their guests within and adjacent to a club premises.
Admission to the Club is confined to members and bona fide guests.
Guests arriving unaccompanied are scrutinised by the Steward or Committee before admission and signing in by the host member.
When live or recorded music is played all reasonable steps are taken to avoid disturbance to neighbouring properties.
