Licence conditions (24)
  1. Noise emanating from the premises shall not be audible above the background level, 1 metre from the facade of the nearest noise sensitive property
  2. The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book and shall include the time and date of checks, the person making them and the results, including any remedial action.
  3. There shall be no live or recorded music external to the Social Club or Shankly Lounge.

  5. No glass allowed outside licensed premises and all off-sales shall be sold in an open container. In addition, no glass items shall be stored at the outdoor car bar.
  6. Door staff in attendance on late night finishing.
  7. An incident book will be kept - to be signed by door staff.
  8. Capacity in both bars will be limited to that stated in the Club’s fire risk assessment which is maintained and updated as necessary.
  9. First aid kits are located in the Tony Hopper Social Club Bar, the Kitchen and the Shankly Sponsors Lounge.
  10. Sufficient trained stewards shall be deployed throughout the ground on match days, who will monitor alcohol consumption within the ground.
  11. Function capacity controlled by ticket sales.
  12. Cigarette bins will be provided at the door of the premises.
  13. Workington AFC will uphold the provisions of the club’s Safeguarding Plan for Children and Vulnerable Young Adults, detailed in Stadium Operations Manual.
  14. All children under the age of fourteen will be off the premises by 9 p.m. unless attending a pre-booked private function.
  15. Sale of alcohol from the outdoor can bar is permitted if a risk assessment has been completed. The risk assessment should be for a specified fixture and should assess the risk of disorder and any other risks associated with additional alcohol sales. The risk assessment will be made available to authorised officers on request.
  16. Sale of alcohol is subject to the provisions of the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985 where applicable.

  18. Prevention of anti-social drinking especially on a match day by allowing customers the ability to watch event and consume drinks.
  19. In addition to the trained stewards throughout the ground, the entrance/exit to and from the Tony Hopper Bar to the terraces will be permanently manned by a Doorman/Steward to ensure all conditions are adhered to.
  20. Workington AFC will work within the guidelines as set by our League(s) and Football Association (FA) rules regarding consumption of alcohol on match days.
  21. Before each fixture, Workington AFC shall notify the Police for the purpose of maintaining the lawful and orderly behaviour among persons attending any game at Borough Park. The club will undertake to suspend the consumption of alcohol outside if it is perceived to be an issue for any particular game.
  22. Stewards already in ground making sure there is a protection of children and that children should be accompanied by a responsible person if under 11 years old.
  23. Challenge 21 Posters willl be displayed, alongside staff requesting proof of age documentation where considered necessary
  24. All food anmd drinks will be removed from the container at end of each game.
