MC04 - Supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises
MC0401 - A club premises certificate may not authorise the supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises unless it also authorises the supply of alcohol to a member of the club for consumption on those premises.
MC0402 - A club premises certificate which authorises the supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises must include the following conditions:-
(i) the supply of alcohol must be made at a time when the premises are open for the purposes of supplying alcohol, in accordance with the club premises certificate, to members of the club for consumption on the premises.
(ii) Any alcohol supplied for consumption off the premises must be in a sealed container.
(iii) Any supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises must be made to a member of the club in person.
Regular briefing of staff to ensure that the four objectives are understood and identifiable.
The Club is open only to members and their guests.
All staff are trained to operate within a safe environment and management strues exist to ensure compliance.
The prevention of crime and disorder
An incident book shall be maintained on site and shall record all incidents of crime and disorder with dates, times, individuals involved, staff names, and remedial action taken.
This will be available for inspection by Local Authority Officers and Police.
Public safety
Alcohol will be stored securely and only sold by trained members of staff.
Alcohol sales will be limited to members and their guests.
The Club is limited to members and their guests, all of whom are bound by a code of conduct and subject to a disciplinary policy if their behaviour is inappropriate.
The prevention of public nuisance
No-one will be sold alcohol if they are in an unfit state.
Opening times will be adhered to in line with Club policies to ensure wider community are not affected by nuisance.
The protection of children from harm
A Challenge 25 Policy will be in place and any refusals made shall be recorded in a 'refusal book' which will be available for inspection by a Local Authority Officer or Police Officer.
