Licence conditions (30)
  1. Challenge 25 and Age Verification policies shall be adopted to avoid any underage retail of sale of alcohol. Only acceptable proof of ID shall be accepted within these policies. This includes valid Passport, UK Photo Driving Licence, and Photo ID card with PASS Hologram.
  2. Designated Premises Supervisor shall maintain written authorisation for all members of staff to sell alcohol.
  3. Refusals of sale of alcohol shall be recorded and the Register shall be maintained and made available for inspection on request by the Licensing Officers.
  4. All required signage shall be prominently displayed in relation to Challenge 25 Policy and this shall also be covered on the take away menu
  5. A CCTV system shall be installed and maintained to the reasonable requirements of the Police, covering the entrances, exits, internal and external areas of the premises and recordings shall be kept for a minimum of 31 days and be made available to Police or Council Officers, in useable form on request.
  6. Prior to engaging in any sale of alcohol, all staff shall be trained by the DPS in relation to the Licensing Act 2003. Training records shall be kept at the premises for inspection (for a minimum of 24 months) and refresher training shall be given to all staff at least every six months.
  7. Alcohol shall be displayed away from shop front entrance door. All spirits shall be kept out of public reach to avoid any risk of theft.
  8. No super-strength beer, lagers, or ciders shall be supplied with Alcohol by Volume (ABV) in excess of 6.5% in either bottles or can.
  9. There shall be no vertical drinking allowed on the premises.
  10. Sales for consumption of alcohol ON the premises shall only be supplied by waiter service to customers having substantial table meals in open containers.
  11. Sales for consumption of alcohol OFF the premises shall only be supplied to customers placing a counter order or delivery order for substantial take away meal/s.
  12. This shall be in sealed containers collected by customers or delivered by delivery staff.
  13. Patrons shall not be allowed to take alcohol in open containers outside the premises at any time.
  14. Staff shall receive training on how to minimise the risk of fire, and to provide staff &
  15. A comprehensive incident register shall be maintained, at the premises. The DPS shall ensure that details of incidents shall be added to the register within 24hrs of any incident. The following details shall be recorded: -

  22. The premises shall have the following signage prominently displayed: • Remind customers to keep the surrounding area of the premises litter free • Remind customers to respect the privacy of local residents and businesses in the area when entering or leaving the premises • CCTV Signage to remind and warn customers that images are being recorded and monitored for the purpose of crime prevention and public safety.
  23. Staff shall remind patrons leaving the premises to respect the residential amenity.
  24. Staff shall receive appropriate training for the retail of alcohol on the premises and crime prevention measures.
  25. Staff shall be trained regarding the protection of children from harm, including the awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation and how to make a referral if any concerns are raised for children or any suspected perpetrator.
  26. Operational Makesafe poster shall be displayed in prominent positions to remind staff of the signs and symptoms and how to refer concerns about Child Sexual Exploitation.
  27. Background music shall only be permitted between 08:00 – 23:00
  28. The premises capacity for consumption of table meals by patrons shall be limited to 20 persons.
  29. Suitable receptacles for customers smoking outside to dispose of cigarette litter shall be provided.
  30. The admission of unoccupied children under the age of 16 shall be monitored by staff at all times and they shall have no access to alcohol unless accompanied by an adult.
