General Conditions Crime and Disorder
The Licensee will ensure that the telephone numbers of the DPS and local Police/emergency services are displayed in public & staff areas.
The Licensee will ensure that staff are trained in conflict management. Public Safety
The Licensee will ensure that staff are made aware of fire exits, the closure of fire doors, and how to use extinguishers.
The Licensee will ensure that a telephone is available for free local calls to local taxi firms.
The Licensee will ensure that torches are available for loan to patrons who wish to walk home. Prevention of Public Nuisance
The Licensee will ensure that notice is given to near neighbours and posted in the village shop of any events likely to disturb such as jazz in the garden on Sunday, etc., and that such notices will contain the telephone number of the DPS.
The volume of any amplification system used in connection with the performance of any description of regulated entertainment shall be controlled such that it is non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
All doors and windows to those parts of the public house used for the provision of regulated shall be kept closed after 23:00 hours, other than for access and egress, when there are performances of any description of regulated entertainment taking place.
The performance of live music outdoors after 21:00 hours and the playing of recorded music outdoors after 21:00 hours shall take place on no more than 10 occasions in any one calendar year. On those occasions, the performance of live music and the playing of recorded music shall finish no later than 23:00 hours. Protection of Children from Harm
The Licensee will ensure that staff are given appropriate training to ensure vigilance in protecting children from harm and ensuring that no under-age drinking takes place.
