Together with for the purposes of paragraph 6(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 all other licensable activities which may be carried out at the premises by virtue of the justices licence issued under the Licensing Act 1964 and existing as of the date of this licence, which include but may not be limited to the following:
Private entertainment, that is to say dancing and music, may be provided and promoted for private gain.
For the purpose of paragraph 6(8) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 this licence is subject to the effect of restrictions contained in the Licensing Act 1964 and the Children and Young Persons Act 1933,which include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during the hours authorised under this licence, however this restriction does not prohibit:
During the first twenty minutes after the authorised hour the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
The consumption of alcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises;
The ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the dispatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
The sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
The sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty's naval, military or air forces;
The taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there;
The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by persons so supplied; or
The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, if the alcohol is supplied at the expense of their employer or of the person carrying on or in charge of the business on the premises.
ii) No child shall be employed:
So long as he is under the age of fourteen years;
To do any work other than light work;
Before the close of school hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
Before seven o'clock in the morning or after seven o'clock in the evening on any day;
For more than two hours on any day on which he is required to attend school;
For more than two hours on any Sunday;
Five hours in any day on which he is not required to attend school, and which is not a Sunday;
For more than thirty-five hours or, if he is under the age of fifteen years, for more than twenty-five hours in any week in which he is not required to attend school;
For more than four hours in any day without a rest break of one hour; or
At any time in a year unless at that time he has had, or could still have, during a period in the year in which he is not required to attend school, at least two consecutive weeks without employment.
iii) a) Where there is provided in any building an entertainment for children, or an entertainment at which the majority of the persons attending are children, then, if the number of children attending the entertainment exceeds one hundred, it shall be the duty of the person providing the entertainment to station and keep stationed wherever necessary a sufficient number of adult attendants, properly instructed as to their duties, to prevent more children or other persons being admitted to the building, or to any part thereof, than the building or part can properly accommodate, and to control the movement of the children and other persons admitted while entering and leaving the building or any part thereof, and to take all other reasonable precautions for the safety of the children; and
Where the occupier of a building permits, for hir
A minimum of two door supervisors shall be employed when the premises remain open for the provision of licensable activities on Friday and Saturday beyond 24:00 from 19:00 hours until the premises close to the public;
When a disc jockey is employed at the premises they shall make an announcement at the end of the nights entertainment asking customers to "please leave the premises quietly";
Signs shall be displayed at the exits to the premises asking customers to "please leave the premises quietly";
All incidents of crime and disorder shall be reported to the police and recorded in an incident log book;
When regulated entertainment is taking place at the premises there will be patrols internally and externally to limit any noise pollution;
Soft drinks and non-alcoholic refreshment will be available from the cessation of the sale of alcohol until the close of the premises;
No children under 16 years of age shall be permitted on the premises unless accompanied by an adult;
A recognised proof of age policy will be enforced;
No children under 16 years of age shall be permitted in the garden after 21:00 hours;
Except as provided in the above condition, the use of the premises external areas by customers shall cease at 23:00 hours except for the rear raised patio area that may be used for smoking only from 23:00 hours until the terminal at which the premises close to the public.
Where music is provided at any time during the night hours (23:00 hours to 07:00 hours the following day), noise from the provision of such music shall be inaudible at the façade (façade meaning the elevation or elevations of buildings used for habitation that face toward the licensed premises) of nearby residential premises;
The premises CCTV system will operate during the hours of this licence and the recordings will be kept for 31 days for use by the police and the Licensing Authority;
There will be no admissions or re-admissions to the premises after 23:00 hours except for re-admissions to customers using the rear raised patio area for smoking;
The provision of live music will be by no more than two performers;
Where the rear raised patio area is used for smoking between 23:00 hours until the terminal hour there shall be a physical barrier erected to deter customers from entering the garden;
When the rear raised patio is used between 23:00 hours and the terminal hour a member of staff shall be on duty to monitor compliance with the use of the patio area and document the level of noise at the boundary of the rear garden of the premises;
Clear and legible notices shall be displayed advising customers as to the times and the permitted use of the rear garden and rear raised patio area;
No customer will be permitted to take food, alcohol, drinks and containers, bottles or glasses into the rear raised patio area between 23:00 hours and the terminal hour of the licence.
