Licence conditions (19)
- 1. The premises shall install and maintain a CCTV system. All entry, exit and point of sale areas will be covered by the cameras, and the images shall enable frontal identification of every person entering in any light condition. The system shall continually record whilst the premises is open for licensable activities and during all times when staff and customers remain on the premises. All recordings shall be stored for a minimum period of 31 days with date and time stamping. Recordings shall be made available to the Police or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority upon request throughout the preceding 31-day period, providing that such requests are in connection with the prevention or detection of crime.
- 2. A staff member from the premises who is fully conversant with the operation of the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises are open to the public. This staff member shall be able to show the Police or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority data or footage upon request.
- 3. In addition to any other training, the premises licence holder shall ensure all staff are trained to prevent underage sales, to maintain the refusals book, enter sales correct on the tills so the prompts show when appropriate, and monitor staff to ensure their training is put into practice. A staff training record shall be maintained and available for inspection by the Police or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
- 4. Notices shall be prominently displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and leave the area quietly.
- 5. The sale of alcohol shall only be by waiter service to seated customers.
- 6. Clearly visible signage is to be displayed at the entrances indicating it is illegal to sell alcohol to people under the age of 18 years.
- 7. A Refusal Log (which may be electronically recorded) shall be kept detailing all refused sales of alcohol. The log should include the date and time of the refused sale and the name of the member of staff who refused the sale. The log shall be available for inspection at the premises by the Police or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority whilst the premises are open.
- 8. An Incident Log shall be kept at the premises for at least 12 months, and made available on request to the Police or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority, which will record the following: (a) all crimes reported to the venue, or by the venue to the Police (b) all ejections of patrons (c) any complaints received relating to crime and disorder (d) any incidents of disorder (e) seizures of drugs or offensive weapons (f) any failures or faults in the CCTV system
- 9. The Premises must implement a "Challenge 25" policy whereby all customers who appear to be under 25 must produce photographic identification in the form of a passport, driving licence or Proof of Age Scheme (P.A.S.S) approved identification or any other Home Office approved ID before being allowed to purchase alcohol.
- 10. Notices shall be prominently displayed at any area used for smoking requesting patrons to use the area quietly and considerably.
- 11. At least one SIA licensed door supervisor shall be on duty at the premises on Friday and Saturdays from 22:00hrs until 30 minutes after closing on any night.
- 12. The DPS shall ensure that tables are cleared of all bottles and glasses on a regular basis during trading hours to avoid accumulation of glassware.
- 13. The DPS shall make arrangements to ensure that no customers shall be permitted to remove from the premises any open bottles, glasses, for consumption or disposal outside the premises.
- 14. No unaccompanied persons under the age of 18yrs shall be permitted on the premises after 21:00hrs on any day, unless accompanied by an adult whilst attending a private pre-booked family function.
- 15. No entry or re-entry to the premises shall be permitted after 00:00hrs.
- 16. A Risk Assessment shall be completed and kept for each live event held at the premises.
- 17. A Dispersal Policy shall be in operation to ensure that patrons leave the premises and area quietly and safely.
- 18. The premises licence holder shall provide a means of communication, be that email or phone number, to local residents, responding promptly to any noise or disturbance complaints.
- 19. All external doors and windows shall be kept closed after 23:00 hours during live music performances, except for access and egress. 20. No live or recorded music shall be permitted in any external area of the premises after 23:00 hours. 21. No external loudspeakers will be used to play music 22. A noise limiting device shall be installed, set, and sealed at a level agreed with the Environmental Health Officer, and used at all times when live or recorded music is played. 23. A dispersal policy shall be operated to ensure that patrons leave the premises and area quietly and safely after closing time. 24. Deliveries and waste disposal shall take place at private service area at the back of restaurant 25. Customers will not be permitted to take open containers of alcohol and soft drinks out of the premises 26. A written noise management plan shall be maintained and implemented to minimise disturbance to neighbouring properties, to the satisfaction of the licensing authority 27. Sound levels shall be monitored at regular intervals, with records kept for inspection.
