Licence conditions (34)

Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The licence holder will ensure that no more than two alcoholic drinks are purchased by a customer.
2. The licence holder must, upon request by an authorised Police Officer, stop serving customers identified by the Police as having breached The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (No.2) (England) Regulations 2020 (or subsequent Coronavirus Restriction Regulations) or who have caused anti-social behaviour. The Licence holder will keep a log of those banned in this way, written or digital. This must be available upon request by an authorised officer of the Police or Local Authority.
3. Staff will be fully trained in respect of the licensing objectives and selling alcohol to customers.
4. Off sales of alcohol will cease 30 minutes before closure of the park as pre-set by the park warden except for pre-ordered sales of alcohol for deliveries to customers outside the park.
5. CCTV cameras covering external areas the immediate vicinity of the premises and recorders are installed. The cameras are of an evidential standard acceptable to the Police. The system is maintained in good working order and fully operational;
6. Cameras are positioned to observe the entrance to the Park and record those entering exiting via the Hatfield Road entrance immediately next to the restaurant;
7. The equipment has a suitable export method. Copies will be made available to the Police and Local Authority on request;
8. A sign is displayed on the premises to advise that CCTV is in operation.
9. The following notices shall be displayed:
a) A restriction on the sale of alcohol to anyone under the age of 18;
b) A prominent notice shall be displayed at the premises advising customers the premises operates the 'Challenge 25' proof of age scheme.
c) A notice informing customers that CCTV is in operation.
Public Safety
1. The premises will be maintained in accordance will all applicable health and safety regulations.
2. The Licensee will cooperate with relevant authorities to uphold the licensing objectives.
3. Staff will be conversant with the licensing objectives and fully trained so as to fully understand the objectives of the Licensing Act 2003. A record of such training to be maintained and available for inspection.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
1. The licence holder must ensure that all alcoholic drinks that are served in open receptacles have a form of identification written on them e.g. Verdis. For these purposes an open receptacle is any receptacle that requires the premises to add the alcohol before serving.
2. The licence holder must display signs stating: "please take your food and drink home to consume, if consumed in an open space please adhere to social distancing guidance and clear your litter".
3. The licence holder or nominated member of staff must, at least twice a day, walk around Clarence Park and gather drinks receptacles that they have provided to customers (form of identification on them).
4. The licence holder will ensure that a refundable deposit is charged to all customers purchasing alcohol in recyclable containers for off premises consumption, which will be refunded upon the receptacle being returned to the premises for recycling.
5. The licence holder will provide a suitable container for the collection of refuse generated by the Restaurant, positioned in the vicinity of the Restaurant and disposed of at his expense.
The Protection of Children from Harm
1. Staff will be trained to be vigilant and aware of any adult attempting to purchase alcohol on behalf of a child. They will be directed to refuse any sale of alcohol where they believe this to be the case. Staff will record all proxy refusals in their refusals book.
2. Alcohol will be stored away from children and alcohol on display will be behind the point of sale and out of reach of the general public.
3. Anyone seeking to be served an alcoholic beverage must be 18 years and over. A "Challenge 25" scheme that ensures any person attempting to purchase alcohol who is, or appears to be, under 25 years of age shall provide documented proof that he/she is over 18 years of age, shall be implemented at the premises.
4. Only the following documents shall be considered as appropriate for proof of age identity:
i. A Passport;
ii. A Photocard driving licence;
iii. A Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) proof of age identity card; or
iv. A military identity card.
5. A prominent notice shall be displayed at each point of entry to the premises advising customers that the premises operates the 'Challenge 25' proof of age scheme.
6. Premises shall install and maintain a till prompt system to prompt the seller to check age and ask for ID whenever an age restricted product is made.

Licensed hours are the most a premises may open or trade under its licence, not its actual opening times.
