Licence conditions (18)
  1. The admission of children, that is persons under 18 years of age, to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) or by the London Borough of Bexley.
  2. All bar staff shall, on induction, at least every six months thereafter, be trained in the responsible retailing of alcohol, which shall include training on the prevention of underage sales. Staff training shall be recorded and training records shall, on request, be made available to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person of the licensing authority.
  3. The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 21" and all customers attempting to purchase alcohol who appear to be under the age of 21 shall be required to produce a valid proof of age. Notice to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises.
  4. The only proof of age accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a proof of age card bearing the: o "PASS" hologram logo; o a passport; o a photo full driving licence; or o other proof of age approved in writing by the licensing authority.
  5. A 'challenge book', or similar record, shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been challenged. This book, or similar record, shall be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person of the licensing authority.
  6. Posters shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of any one under the age of eighteen years; and advising customers that it is an offence for bar staff to serve drunks.
  7. Regular checks of the toilets shall be made by a responsible member of staff to ensure compliance with the premises zero tolerance to drugs policy. Such checks shall be recorded and, on request, records shall be made available to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person of the licensing authority.
  8. The sound insulation to windows at the rear of the Function Hall shall be satisfactorily maintained.
  9. The windows at the rear of the Function Hall shall be maintain non-openable or kept locked shut at all times.
  10. The alarms fitted to the fire doors, which alert staff if the doors are opened, shall be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times.
  11. The main door to the Function Hall shall, except for access and egress, be kept shut at all times.
  12. The exterior of the premises shall be patrolled at half hourly intervals by a member of the Club committee or management team, so as to ensure that music/noise from the function is at a level so as not do disturb local residents. Such patrols shall be recorded and, on request, records shall be made available to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person of the licensing authority.
  13. A mobile phone number shall be made available to local residents in order that they can immediately alert the Club of any nuisance.
  14. At all times that alcohol is being sold in the Function Hall a member of the Club committee or management team shall be in control of the premises and present at the function
  15. Alcohol shall only be sold on the premises to the following: o -Members of the Club, as outlined in the Club Rules and regulations; o -Guests of the Club, as outlined in the Club Rules and regulations; o -Associate Members of the Club as defined in Section 67 of the Licensing Act 2003; or o -Any other person attending a bona fide pre booked function.
  16. Hire of the Function Hall shall be through a full (not honorary) member of the Management Committee of the Club, who shall be responsible for the conduct of persons attending a function for the duration of the hire period.
  17. A record shall be kept of all persons hiring the premises and such records shall, on request, be made available to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person of the licensing authority.
