  1. A CCTV system shall be installed and maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times. It shall make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and of the purchasers of the alcohol. The CCTV recordings shall show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made and all images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days. CCTV recordings shall be made available for viewing by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person upon demand. The original, or a copy, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
  2. The premises shall operate in accordance with the ¿challenge 21¿ scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years and over, anyone who appears under 21 years of age will be asked for ID. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises
  3. The only proof of age accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a passport, photo driving licence and those accredited with ¿PASS¿ hologram logo.
  4. All alcohol sold shall be placed in white carrier bags.
  5. Alcohol displays shall be restricted to those areas shown on the submitted plan, namely behind the counter and the one cabinet adjacent. Any increase in alcohol displays would require prior consent of the Police and Licensing Authority.
  6. A refusals book shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith with the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been refused. This book must be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
  7. Staff shall receive regular training on the prevention of under age sales. Such training shall be recorded and these records shall, on request, be made available to the Licensing Authority or Police.
