Licence conditions (23)
  1. CCTV will be installed at the premises.
  2. Cameras will be sited to observe the entrance and exit doors both inside and outside, the customer areas including the till any external seating and smoking area.
  3. The CCTV system must be operating at all times whilst the premises are open for licensable activity.
  4. All equipment shall have a constant and accurate time and date generation.
  5. Digital systems shall provide good quality playback images that give free flowing playback footage.
  6. Recorded footage will be retained for a minimum of 31 days and will be made available to Police immediately on request when investigating allegations of offences or criminal activity.
  7. A trained member of staff will able to operate the system and download images will be on duty during operating hours.
  8. Any images recovered must be playable on a windows based computer system without the need for technical enhancement.
  9. Signage to advise that CCTV is in operation will be displayed in the customer seating area internally, externally and at entrance.
  10. All staff involved in the sale or supply of alcohol shall receive licensing training that includes appropriate precautions to prevent the sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18, the signs and symptoms of drunkenness, the refusal of service due to intoxication and age verification policy.
  11. Records will be kept of such training which must be signed and dated by the member of staff who has received that training.
  12. All staff will receive refresher training every six months as a minimum and records are to be kept of this refresher training.
  13. These records shall be made available to Police and/or Local Authority upon request and shall be kept for at least one year.
  14. An incident book or computer log for refusals of service, ID checks and incidents shall be maintained by staff at the premises.
  15. These records shall be retained for a minimum of 1 year and be made available to the Police and other responsible authorities upon request.
  16. A written record shall be retained at the bar area to list the staff that have been authorised to sell or supply alcohol following their training.
  17. This shall be made available to the Police upon request.
  18. Fire exits are clearly marked and operable without the use of a key, code or card.
  19. No smoking signs are clearly displayed throughout the premises.
  20. Staff undertake a daily litter pick up in front of the building.
  21. The premises licence holder shall ensure that a system is in place to ensure that every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises, shall produce acceptable means of identification and age confirmation.
  22. Acceptable identification shall be a passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID.
  23. If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made to or for that person.
