Licence conditions (13)
  1. Together with for the purposes of paragraph 6(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 all other licensable activities which may be carried out at the premises by virtue of the justices licence issued under the Licensing Act 1964 and existing as of the date of this licence, which include but may not be limited to the following:
  2. Private entertainment, that is to say dancing and music, may be provided and promoted for private gain
  3. When a disc jockey is employed at the premises they shall make an announcement at the end of the nights entertainment asking customers to "please leave the premises quietly";
  4. Signs shall be displayed at the exits to the premises asking customers to "please leave the premises quietly";
  5. All incidents of crime and disorder shall be recorded in an incident book and made available to the police upon request;
  6. When regulated entertainment is taking place at the premises there will be patrols internally and externally to limit any noise pollution;
  7. No children under 16 years of age shall be permitted on the premises unless accompanied by an adult;
  8. The age verification scheme operated at the premises is "Challenge 25".
  9. The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. This means that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID. Notices advertising that the premises operates a Challenge 25 scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance(s) and inside at the premises bar servery area. The only forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be: o a) proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; o b) passport; o c) EU/UK photo driving licence; o d) other form of ID as agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority:
  10. A book, or other form of record, shall be kept in which the date, time and circumstances which any challenge made in accordance with the Challenger 25 scheme shall be recorded. The challenge book, or other form or records, a version of which must be kept in English, shall be made available for inspection by any police or community support officer or authorised person upon demand.
  11. The use of the garden area shall cease after 23.00 hours except for the paved patio area, which is contained within the raised planter area. A physical barrier, such as chain link or rope, will be used to mark the boundary of the area where customers will be allowed to smoke.
  12. When the area of the rear patio designated for smoking is used between 23:00 hours and the terminal hour, a member of staff shall be on duty to monitor compliance with the use of the rear patio area and document the level of noise at the boundary of the rear garden of the premises.
  13. Clear and legible notices shall be displayed advising customers as to the times and the permitted use of the rear garden and rear patio area and designated smoking area of the rear patio.
