All external doors/windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress, in all rooms when events involving amplified sound are taking place.2. All windows and doors to adjacent rooms such as toilets and corridors must be kept closed other than for access and aggress whilst events involving amplified sound are taking place.3. Staff shall check prior to entertainment, and periodically during the entertainment, that all windows and doors are shut. A written record shall be made of these checks in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action.4. A noise limiting device shall be installed, fitted and maintained in such a manner as to control all sources of amplified music at the premises. The noise limiting device shall be connected to all permanent music and public address equipment and all available mains power sockets within the area of the stage/music equipment. Once set such a device should be inaccessible to the licenses or staff.5. The outside areas are not to be used after midnight except for the designated smoking area.6. No live music or amplified music to be played in the open air (including temporary structures such as marquees and tents).7. Door Staff at the Silk Road will actively encourage any smokers at the side area of the Silk Road (Vineyard Street) to use the designated smoking area at the rear of the premises.8. 2 door supervisors are to be employed Monday to Thursday nights unless capacity increases to 100 or more customers or unless a specific event is running, in which case a further door supervisor per each additional 50 customers must be employed. 4 door supervisors are to be employed on Friday and Saturday nights when open, from 22.00 until 30 minutes after closing time to ensure the orderly dispersal of patrons from the premises. Where the licence requires more than one member of door staff to be on duty, at least one should be female where possible and available.2. From the 4 weekend door supervisors, a minimum of 2 will be on duty at the exit from the premises to ensure orderly dispersal from closing until the area immediately outside the premises is clear of customers at the close of business.3. A door supervisor register must be maintained showing the dates and times of shifts and contact details and this register be available for inspection by an authorised officer from the Police or Local Authority.4. CCTV must be available to the Police and Licensing Authority within 48 hours of request.5. The fire exits to Vineyard Street will be used only in the case of fire or fire alarm or for the lawful ejection from the premises. Every ejection from the premises into Vineyard Street will be recorded together with the reason for the use of that particular exit.
