Licence conditions (31)
  1. a) General - all four licensing objectives
  2. 1. Recorded music shall be played indoors only.
  3. 2. In order to further the licensing objectives the licensee reserves the right to move the fire appliances, AWP machines, cigarette machines and or any other similar objects temporarily in a fixed locations which may impact on the ability of individuals on the premises to use exits or escape routes without impediment.
  4. 3. The licence holder shall ensure that all staff are trained and that the training is regularly reviewed.
  5. 4. The licence holder shall be part of St Albans Pub Watch.
  6. 5. The licence holder shall adhere to the "AGE 25" Age Verification Scheme.
  7. b) The prevention of crime and disorder
  8. 1. Lighting shall be provided in the garden and car park areas.
  9. 2. The licence holder shall be an active member of Pubwatch.
  10. 3. CCTV shall be used where required.
  11. 4. Adequate lighting for the safety of staff and customers shall be installed.
  12. 5. The licence holder shall adhere to the "AGE 25" Age Verification Scheme and shall ensure that all staff are trained in this scheme.
  13. c) Public safety
  14. 1. Health and Hygiene certificate shall be held.
  15. 2. Firefighting equipment shall be provided in the premises.
  16. 3. Emergency lighting shall be provided in the premises.
  17. 4. Illuminated signs shall be displayed in the premises.
  18. 5. All Fire Risk Assessments shall be up to date and shall be reviewed when required.
  19. 6. CCTV shall be used where required.
  20. 7. The car park and surrounding areas shall be adequately lit.
  21. d) The prevention of public nuisance
  22. 1. The licence holder shall manage customer departure and shall ensure the quiet dispersal of guests late at night.
  23. 2. Smokers shall be encouraged to use the patio area to the rear of the building rather than the front.
  24. 3. The licence holder shall be an active member of Pubwatch.
  25. e) The protection of children from harm
  26. 1. No unaccompanied children shall be admitted to the premises.
  27. 2. No striptease or nudity or other adult entertainment or services, activities or other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children shall be provided in the premises at any time.
  28. 3. All areas of the premises shall be non-smoking.
  29. 4. Children shall be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  30. 5. Changing facilities shall be provided for small children.
  31. 6. There shall be no gaming machines in the premises.
