  1. Where a premises licence authorises the sale of alcohol, the licence must include the following conditions:
  2. years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either- (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature.
  3. General Conditions All staff who undertake alcohol sales will be trained by the Designated Premises Supervisor with regard to the responsible sale of retail. Training records will be kept and will be made available to the Licensing Authority and/or an officer of a responsible authority. Alcohol free (less than 0.5 %ABH) drinks will be available. Crime and Disorder Managerial staff will be specifically trained in techniques to defuse difficult situations through early intervention, the employment of a 'friendly word' and by depersonalising any issues that might arise. All staff will be advised to be vigilant for signs of incipient drunkenness, slurring of speech and unsteadiness of gait. A refusals register will be kept for any incidents of customers wishing to buy alcohol are not able to produce sufficient ID to prove they are 18 years of age or older. The register will be made available to the Licensing Authority and/or an officer of a responsible authority. Public Safety Fire safety equipment will be regularly tested. Prevention of Public Nuisance Protection of Children from Harm Challenge 21 will be in operation for age verification. Staff will be advised of the law and policy for 16/17 year olds when supervised by a responsible adult and having a table meal.
