CCTV shall be installed on the premises and fully maintained, showing correct date and time information. CCTV to cover internal licensable area, beer garden and smoking area. The CCTV shall provide clear images of people entering and exiting the premises. There must always be a minimum of one member of staff during licensable hours, trained to use the CCTV and able to make the data images available at the request of Police or other authorised licensing authority within 24 hours. All CCTV recordings to be retained for a minimum of 31 days.
Staff training shall be recorded and updated every 6 months. Training shall cover: ii. The requirements for ID as part of age verification. iii. Dealing with an intoxicated person iv. Dealing with disorderly incidents /disorderly persons v. Recording of any refusal to sell alcohol vii. Safeguarding of children or a vulnerable adult viii. Recording and reporting of incidents to police and information to be shared with police to promote the licensing objectives ix. All training records will be available to an authorised officer on request.
An incident log shall be maintained on the premises, which documents the date and time of any incidents involving the premises, which could undermine the licensing objectives. This shall be completed within 24 hours of the incident, be available upon request of a police officer or an authorised officer and will record the following: i. All crimes reported at the venue ii. All ejections of patrons iii. Any complaints received concerning crime and disorder vi. Any incidents of disorder v. Any faults in the CCTV system, including action taken to remedy vii. Persons banned from the premises
There shall be a record of any refused sale of alcohol. The refusal register shall be inspected on a regular basis (at least weekly) by the DPS and endorsed.
The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure a 'Challenge 25 'po licy is adopted on the premises at all times. Signage of the 'Challenge 25 'policy shall be prominently displayed on the premises.
There will be checks that all booked in customers are of age, we do not encourage large groups to visit en masse.
If families attend with people under the age of 16 it is our policy that nobody under the age of 18 be allowed to sit at the bar.
Soft drinks are made available to children upon arrival and parents are guided to a table away from the bar area. We do not encourage parents to allow children to remain unsupervised at any time.
We do not serve main meals, only starter platters, charcuterie platters, cheese & biscuits boards and a limited range of pizza, therefore as no main meals are served we do not allow patrons of 16 and over to partake in consumption of alcohol.
There will be notices requesting customers only consumed in the licensed area which is indoors
Trained first aid responders will be on site in case of accidents and injury. First aid kits are located behind the upstairs bar, to the kitchen and also in the winery area,
All customers will be asked to respect our neighbours and leave quietly after 9:00pm
Should any visitor be obviously intoxicated to a level that is unacceptable they are asked to leave and if necessary escorted off of the premises we would hold them outside in our private car park until a taxi could take them home
Customers will be encouraged to use taxi's, uber and designated drivers to attend and leave the premises.
The premises licence holder shall ensure that the alcohol shall only be delivered to residential and business addresses with a valid postcode
The premises licence holder shall ensure that at the time of ordering, the following details shall be recorded and made available for inspection by a responsible authority under the Licensing Act 2003; i. the full name of the purchaser, ii. the address of the purchaser, iii. an email address for the purchaser, iv. the method of payment and details of alcohol supplied, v. the customer is over 18 years of age.
The premises licence holder shall ensure that: • All orders for delivery shall include - name, address, email address and a contact number. • An age verification step is in place on the company website at the point of ordering. This requires the user to enter their date of birth and if at the point of delivery/collection there is any doubt then proof of age is sought. • The premises licence holder shall ensure that all delivery drivers are 18+. • Delivery to a customer will not be made if - • No adult is present, or the person accepting the delivery cannot produce a valid ID if requested by the driver. Adhering to Challenge 25. • The person in receipt of the delivery appears to be intoxicated from alcohol or drugs. • In the opinion of the delivery driver, the customer is exhibiting abusive behaviour.
The premises licence holder shall ensure that a burglar alarm will be installed on the licensed premises and will cover where alcohol is stored, be in good working order and fully maintained.
