  1. Promotion of objectives carried out through constant liaising with all relevant parties, i.e. local residents, staff & children in school, local authorities, tutors & customers.
  2. Rules and booking conditions clearly state hirer’s responsibilities regarding use of the premises.
  3. Our future plans include applying for a grant to install CCTV.
  4. We already have security lights.
  5. We will liaise regularly with local crime prevention officers.
  6. We will liaise regularly with local residents.
  7. We have a community worker available at all times to help.
  8. Risk assessments are carried out regularly. These are monitored & immediate action taken when needed.
  9. School gates are opened out of school hours to allow car parking facilities.
  10. Health & safety & child protection policies strictly adhered to.
  11. Safety flyers given to hirers prior to booking.
  12. End of day checks are carried out.
  13. Car parking is available. This stops congestion on the road outside school.
  14. Music is not amplified.
  15. Booking terms & conditions must be adhered to.

  18. Liaise with police & local residents.
