  1. • We will prevent crime and disorder on the premises by ensuring we supply the correct measurements of alcohol and that anyone who is served meets the legal requirements
  2. • Ensure all staff have the proper training recognizing signs of intoxication, the legal requirements for serving alcohol, and how to handle difficult situations
  3. • Implement ID Check and Challenge 25 to prevent underage drinking, with clear signage highlighting our policy. Use reliable methods to verify customer IDs for authenticity. Train staff to enforce limits on alcohol consumption to avoid excessive drinking and ensure safety.
  4. • Work closely with law enforcement and security staff to ensure compliance with regulations and address any issues.
  5. • In addition, we will also manage customers purchasing alcohol for underage drinkers
  6. • The Challenge 25 scheme must be operated to ensure that any person who appears to be under the age of 25 shall provide documented proof that he/she is over 18 years of age. Proof of age shall only comprise a passport, photo card driving licence, an EU/EEA national ID card or similar document, an HM Forces warrant card, a card bearing the PASS hologram, or any electronic or biometric age verification technology approved by the licensing authority. • The premises shall display prominent signage indicating at any point of sale and at the entrance to the premises that the Challenge 25 scheme is in operation. All staff authorised to sell alcohol shall be trained in: • Relevant age restrictions in respect of products • Preventing underage sales • Preventing proxy sales • Enter sales correctly on the tills so the prompts show as appropriate ( if relevant) • Training must include evidence that the trainee has gained knowledge and understanding of the training, which may consist of a test or quiz, completed by the trainee. Documented records of training completed shall be kept for each member of staff. Training shall be regularly refreshed and at no greater than 12 monthly intervals. Training records shall be made available for inspection upon request by a police officer or an authorised officer
