Licence conditions (30)
  1. General:-
  2. At the time the Premises Licence has been granted and whilst it is in force, the DPS in situ must have completed and attained the following qualifications;
  3. National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders
  4. All staff shall be trained in Licensing Law and Health and Safety.
  5. The Premises Supervisor in situ will ensure that all existing Health and Safety checks will be carried out, and that all existing policies that ensure the care and safety of patrons are observed.
  6. Prevention of Crime and Disorder:-
  7. No persons shall be admitted to, or allowed to remain on the premises who are or are suspected to be under the influence of, or in possession of, any illegal/illicit substance.
  8. No persons shall be admitted to, or allowed to remain on the premises who are, or are suspected of being intoxicated.
  9. Public Safety:-
  10. Health and Safety Risk assessments shall be carried out prior to the Premises licence being effective and a copy retained for inspection upon request by an officer of the local Licensing Authority, Police or Fire Authority or other relevant person.
  11. Fire Risk assessments shall be carried out prior to the Premises Licence being effective and a copy retained for inspection upon request by an officer of the local Fire Authority, Licensing or Police Authority or other relevant person.
  12. On occasions of special events where audience members exceed normal limits, there shall be adequate staff/stewards available to ensure safety of patrons. The number of staff/stewards shall be near to or equivalent to:- One member of staff per one hundred persons or part thereof.
  13. Public Nuisance:-
  14. All music activities shall be indoors only.
  15. Disposal of waste bottles into external receptacles where the noise will be audible to neighbouring properties must not occur between 23.00hrs and 10.00hrs
  16. In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area, in which the public or club members and guests are present, shall be fully operational at all times.
  17. Prominent, clear notices shall be displayed at all exits / in the beer garden/outside areas, requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and the area quietly.
  18. Taxis collecting or setting down passengers, must do so at a point where there is no risk of nuisance or obstruction of access to any nearby residential property.
  19. Live music event limited to 2 events per calendar month.
  20. Protection of Children from Harm:-
  21. No person under the age of 18 shall be permitted on the premises unless accompanied by an adult.
  22. Cigarette dispensing and AWP machines shall be situated where they can be observed by staff at all times the premises is open to the public.
  23. Anyone who appears to be under 18 and is attempting to purchase alcohol in the licensed premises/club or is consuming alcohol in the licensed premises/club shall, upon request, provide any member of staff of the licensed premises/club with adequate and acceptable proof of age.
  24. Proof of age may be illustrated by a:-
  25. Connexions card - as promoted by Kent trading Standards and Kent Police.
  26. 'New type' driving licence with photograph.
  27. Valid UK Passport
  28. Official identity card issued by HM armed forces.
  29. It may be acceptable for children under the age of 18 to consume alcohol as part of a meal whilst under adult supervision. In this instance, it may not be necessary to require proof of age.
