  1. Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
  2. a) General - all four licensing objectives:
  3. 1. Live Music shall only be performed indoors and on no more than two occasions per week.
  4. 2. The DPS, manager and additional staff shall be on the premises during music events.
  5. b) The prevention of crime and disorder:
  6. 1. The DPS shall attend Pubwatch meetings
  7. 2. Staff shall understand and enforce the policy of no more alcohol to individuals who may cause a problem
  8. c) Public safety:
  9. 1. All staff shall be trained in fire safety and first aid by the end of May 2006.
  10. d) The protection of children from harm:
  11. 1. No children shall be allowed in the premises after 19.00. All children shall be accompanied by an adult at all times that they are in the premises.
  12. Annex 3 - Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority
  13. a) General:
  14. 1. The licence holder shall ensure that there are adequate staffing levels to cope with any additional customers.
  15. b) The Prevention of crime and disorder:
  16. 1. The licence holder shall ensure that anyone who appears to have had too much to drink is refused alcohol. Anyone who looks like they could cause trouble shall be refused entry to the premises. All doors and windows shall be closed whilst live music is being played. The licence holder shall be members of pub watch.
  17. c) Public Safety:
  18. 1. Music shall be stopped well before closing time to ensure that everyone does not leave at the same time. All exit doors shall be unlocked and shall be easily opened from inside. Staff shall be trained in safety and first-aid.
  19. d) The prevention of public nuisance:
  20. 1. Music shall be stopped well before closing time to ensure that everyone does not leave at the same time.
  21. 2. All doors and windows shall be closed except for ingress and egress whilst live music is being played.
  22. 3. No music shall be played in the garden.
  23. 4. Suitable and conspicuous notices shall be displayed in the outside areas and at all entrances and exits requesting patrons to make the minimum noise when using the outside areas and when leaving the premises. The licence holder shall ensure, by checking at least weekly, that all signs are in position and well maintained.
  24. 5. Staff shall monitor noise in the rear beer garden and shall remind noisy patrons that the premises is in close proximity to residential properties and to keep noise to a minimum.
  25. 6. The beer garden shall be closed within 5 minutes of when the current supply of alcohol finishes (i.e. 23:05 Monday and Tuesday, 00:05 Wednesday and Thursday, 01:00 Friday and Saturday) except on Sundays when the beer garden shall be closed at 23:00. Doors and windows shall be closed (if not already), except for customers accessing the premises.
  26. 7. Staff shall request patrons to keep noise to a minimum when dispersing from the premises.
  27. e) The Protection of children from harm:
  28. 1. The licence holder will not allow children under 14 to be in the premises after 19:00 hours.
  29. 2. ID shall be checked of anyone appearing to be underage. Use of Challenge 21 until 00.00 and then the use of Challenge 25 after 00.00.
