Licence conditions (31)
  1. The Premises Supervisor in situ will ensure that all existing Health and Safety checks will be carried out, and that all existing policies that ensure the care and safety of patrons are observed.
  2. There will not be promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption of alcohol beverages.
  3. All staff shall be trained in Licensing Law and Health and Safety.
  4. The DPS, manager or other responsible person will ensure that the premises will become a member of "Pubwatch" or any other similar group if established.
  5. All employees shall be given appropriate Instruction, training and supervision and must be familiar with all current operational policies.
  6. Prevention of Crime and disorder:
  7. In the absence of adequate daylight, the lighting in any area, in which the public or club members are present, shall be fully operational at all times.
  8. The DPS, manager or other responsible person in charge of the premises shall liaise and comply with the Local Police Authority regarding their drugs policy, and will allow the use of IONTRAK machines or other drug/illicit substance detection device or method, at all times.
  9. Staff shall carry out regular checks of the toilet areas and other areas indentified, to counter the use, selling or possession of drugs or other illegal or illicit substances.
  10. Staff shall receive training on the prevention of drug abuse.
  11. Public Safety: -
  12. The DPS or manager will liaise and comply with the local Police Authority regarding recommended opening hours during the Maidstone River Festival event, and other notable special events.
  13. At all times the premises are open to the public, the DPS, manager or other responsible person, shall ensure that there is increased coverage for the collection of glasses, and supervision of the trading area.
  14. Public Nuisance:-
  15. The following licensed activities that have the potential to create public nuisance shall not be permitted unless they are done so in accordance with the controls below:
  16. Consumption of alcohol: The consumption of any beverage (alcoholic or non alcoholic) shall not be permitted outside the premises after 00:00 hours (midnight)
  17. All regulated entertainment:
  18. Entertainment consisting of live or amplified music or speech shall cease at 00:00 (midnight)
  19. Prominent, clear notices shall be displayed at all exits / in the beer garden / outside areas, requesting customers to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and area quietly.
  20. Ventilation and extraction systems shall be directed in a manner that will not cause nuisance, through noise or odour, to any persons living or working nearby.
  21. Protection of Children from Harm
  22. Anyone who appears to be under 18 and is attempting to purchase alcohol in the licensed premises/club or is consuming alcohol in the licensed premises/club shall, upon request, provide any member of staff of the licensed premises/club with adequate and acceptable proof of age.
  23. Proof of age may be illustrated by a:
  24. Connexions card - as promoted by Kent trading Standards and Kent Police.
  25. 'New type' driving licence with photograph.
  26. Valid UK Passport
  27. Official identity card issued by HM armed forces.
  28. It may be acceptable for children under the age of 18 to consume alcohol as part of a meal whilst under adult supervision. In this instance, it may not be necessary to require proof of age.
  29. No persons under the age of 18 shall be permitted on the premises after 21:00 hours
  30. All entertainment to cease at 00:00 hours save for recorded music
  31. All doors and windows to be kept closed after 00:00 hours save for access and egress
