Licence conditions (25)
  1. The above restrictions do not prohibit:
  2. (a) during the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;
  3. (b) the ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the despatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered;
  4. (c) the sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club;
  5. (d) the sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty?s naval, military or air forces;
  6. Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises.
  7. The current designated premises supervisor will take the new NCPLH exam and the new national certificate for DPS by the end of April 2008 or be removed from the licence and be replaced by [name removed].
  8. All staff employed at the premises will complete and pass the BII NCPLH or BII ARRA qualification before being permitted to sell alcohol.
  9. CCTV is to be installed in agreement with the police and will cover all exits entrances and public areas of the licensed premises within 2 calendar months of 1 April 2008.
  10. All CCTV cameras and recording equipment, including video tapes if used, are to be well maintained, kept in good working order and are to be subject to regular testing and inspection, which will be auditable.
  11. Any recording made via the use of the CCTV will be retained and stored for a minimum of 30 days and made available to the police or local authority on request or in any case within 48 hours of a request being made.
  12. A written refusals book will be kept at the premises and all staff fully trained in its use. The book will be bound and clearly marked. The following information will be recorded in this book:-
  13. time of refusal
  14. date of refusal
  15. the item refused
  16. name or description of person refused sale
  17. reason for refusal
  18. name of staff member making refusal
  19. The refusal book will be made available for inspection to any police officer, local authority licensing officer or trading standards officer attending at any reasonable time.
  20. All staff at the premises will be trained in the Challenge 25 policy.
  21. The Challenge 25 posters will be prominently displayed in all areas of the shop where alcohol is displayed and at the point of entry to the shop and the point of sale.
  22. Any person who appears to be under 25 years will be required to produce identity proving their age if purchasing alcohol.
  23. The only ID acceptable will be a passport, photographic driving licence, or a pass marked accredited identification such as citizen card.
  24. All staff training will be auditable or be available to any police officer, local authority licensing officer or trading standards officer at any reasonable time.
  25. A notice shall be displayed on the premises of what identification is acceptable (in accordance with condition 13), no photocopies will be acceptable.
