An incident log (which may be electronically recorded) shall be kept at the premises for at least six months, and made available on request to the police or an authorised officer of the licensing authority, which will record the following incidents including pertinent details.a. all crimes reported to the venue, or by the venue to the police.b. all ejections of customers.c. any complaints received.d. any incidents of disorder.e. seizures of drugs, offensive weapons, fraudulent ID, or other items.f. any faults in the CCTV system.g. the date and time of the refused alcohol sale and the name of the member of staff who refused the sale.2. The premises must install, operate, and maintain a comprehensive digital CCTV system. All public areas of the licensed premises, including all public entry and exit points, and the street environment will be covered, enabling facial identification of every person entering in any light condition. The CCTV cameras must continually record while the premises are open to the public and recording must be kept available and unedited for a minimum of 31 days with the date and time stamping. A staff member who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system must be present on the premises at all times when they are open to the public and must be able to produce/download/burn CCTV images upon request by a police officer or other authorised officer of the licensing authority. Any footage must be in a format that can be played back on a standard personal computer or standard DVD player. Where recording is on a removable medium, i.e. compact disk, flash card etc.) a secure storage system to store these recording mediums must be provided.3. There shall be a lockable 'drugs box' at the premises to which no member of staff shall have access. All controlled drugs (or items suspected to be, or containing controlled drugs) found at the premises must be placed in this box as soon as practicable. The drugs box to be opened only by an authorised officer
The Challenge 25 scheme must be operated to ensure that any person who appears to be under the age of 25 shall provide documented proof that he/she is over 18 years of age. Proof of age shall only comprise a passport, photo card, driving licence, an HM Forces warrant card, or a card bearing the PASS hologram.5. The premises shall display prominent signage indicating that the Challenge 25 scheme is in operation.6. Children under 16 years old are not permitted on the premises after 22.00.
Recorded music shall be played indoors only and restricted to background music with no DJ/microphones/live music/karaoke.8. The garden/patios/courtyard must not be used by customers after the hour of 23.00 other than to smoke. No drinks or open vessels will be permitted outside after 23.00.9. The frontage of the premises on Bergholt Road must not be used for the consumption of alcohol, food or for any licensable activity.10. Amplified sound from the licensed premises shall not be detrimental to the amenity of any noise sensitive premises.11. External lighting to the external area shall not cause light spill or glare on adjacent properties.12. Car Park to be managed to minimize disturbance to any noise sensitive premises.13. Prominent and clear notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and area quietly.14. Audible intruder alarms fitted with 20 minute cut off device and key holder details to be provided to the Local Authority.
