The premises shall operate in accordance with the ?Challenge 25? scheme. Signage advising the public of this scheme shall be clearly displayed at the front entrance of the store, at all alcohol displays and at all till points.
The only forms of acceptable ID under ?Challenge 25? scheme shall be a: a) proof of age card bearing the ?PASS? hologram logo; b) passport; or c) photo driving licence:
A refusals book shall be kept in which the date and time of any refusal is made is recorded. This book shall be made available to the Police or authorised officer of the Council.
A till prompt shall appear on the initial sale of alcohol that will remind the seller of their responsibilities, including not to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
There shall be 12 CCTV cameras monitoring the inside of the premises and 3 monitoring the outside and at all times when the premises operate in accordance with this licence these CCTV cameras shall: a) be operational and in good working order; b) show an accurate date and time of when the images were made. c) images from the CCTV shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days for use by the Licensing Authority, Police or authorised person.
Staff shall receive regular training on the prevention of underage sales, including the ?Challenge 25? scheme and the use of the CCTV system. Such training shall be recorded and these records shall, on request, be made available to the Licensing Authority and Police.
The premises shall display posters in prominent positions, relating to information on the sale of alcohol, as requested by either the Police or other Responsible Authority.
At least two members of staff shall be on duty on the shop floor from 18.00 hours until the premises close.
All wines and spirits shall be kept behind the front counter.
All alcohol not for sale on the shop floor shall be kept locked in the store room to the rear of the premises.
