  1. We are a national retailer that sells alcohol as part of a broad offering goods and services. We have held off-licences in our stores for many years and are an approved British Institute of Inn-Keeping examination centre. We have written training policies and formal training programmes are in place, which ensure out people are equipped to meet all licensing objectives. All training and revision/ refresher materia;s and reviews regularly. We have introduced our 'Think 25' policy to all of our stores in May 2009, this policy is brought to customer's attention through point of sale or sale material at the checkout and whereever alcohol is displayed for sale. We take legal compliance very seriously and in addition to local training we emply a central alcohol licensing compliance manager and have compliance committee.

  7. Added agreed conditions with Hertfordshire Constabulary:

The Premises Licence Holder and the Designated Premises Supervisor shall ensure that the premises are equipped with a digital closed circuit television system, compatible with the requirement of the Hertfordshire Constabulary. The recordings of which will be made to a digital hard drive and retained for a minimum of 31 days. The recordings of the CCTV will be made available to Hertfordshire Constabulary, Local Authority Licensing Officer or Trading Standards Officer, subject to the Data Protection Act. These recordings will be able to play instantly on a Personal Computer or a DVD player. There will be at least one staff member on duty at all times (when the premises is open) who is trained to use the CCTV system. Hertfordshire Constabulary and the Local Authority Licensing Officer will be notified (within 5 days) on any occasion when the premises CCTV system is inoperative
