  1. We shall continue to adhere to all the current legislation affecting this operation, and will continue to train staff on an ongoing basis to the standards required.
  2. The existing CCTV system will continue to operate during the additional hours of trading, and notices stating that CCTV is operational will be displayed.Door supervision during the additional hours will be reviewed in consultation with the Police.So far as possible we shall ensure that no bottles or glasses are removed form the premises.For 24 hour events there shall be a last admission to the premises of 12 midnight.,.

  5. No unaccompanied under 16 years olds will be admitted to the premises after 21.00 in accordance with our current policy. Staff will continue to have rigorous training about preventing the sales of alcohol to underage persons, and we shall continue our policy of requiring photographic identification from any person who appears to be under 18.2) We have not had problems concerning children in our premises; quite the contrary; these are family friendly premises, and we shall continue to ensure that all customers, including children, and our staff feel safe on our premises.,.

The provision of recorded music in accordance with the conversion of the Justices’ Licence pursuant to Section 182 of the Licensing Act 1964.NOTE:THE PROVISION OF PRIVATE ENTERTAINMENT FOR PRIVATE GAIN PURSUANT TO SECTION 2(2)(B) OF THE PRIVATE PLACES OF ENTERTAINMENT (LICENSING ACT) 1967 HAS NOT BEEN ADOPTED BY COLCHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL.,.

The maximum number of persons permitted in the premises be 350.The adoption of and compliance with the conditions detailed by Essex Police as outlined below:-a)The premises shall install and maintain a comprehensive CCTV system. All entry and exit points will be covered enabling frontal identification of every person entering in any light condition. The system will, in addition, cover the main areas to which the public have access. The CCTV shall continually record whilst the premises is open for licensable activities and during all times when customers remain on the premises. All recordings shall be stored for a minimum period of 31 days with date and time stamping. Viewing of recordings shall be made available immediately upon request of Police or authorised officers, subject to the requirements of Data Protection legislation.b)A staff member from the premises who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises are open. This staff member must be able to provide a Police or authorised council officer copies of recent CCTV images or date with the absolute minimum of delay, subject to the requirements of Data Protection legislation.d)Toughened drinking glasses to be used at all times the premises are open.e)No bottles or glasses to be taken off the premisesf) Windows and doors to be closed by 11pm to reduce noise levels from Public Entertainment except for access and egress.g)Empty bottles and glasses to be collected as soon as possible. (Best practice to reduce incidents of glassing injuries).h)Polite signs should be placed at all exits from the premises encouraging customers to be quiet on leaving the area and to respect the rights of people living nearby to a peaceful night.i)Establish an acceptable sound level control system for any musical entertainment so as to avoid unreasonable disturbances to any residents in the immediate vicinity of the premises.
