- OPERATING SCHEDULE
- a) General - all four licensing objectives
- 1. No adult entertainment or services, activities or other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children shall be provided in the premises at any time.
- 2. All staff working on the premises shall be trained to ensure that they understand and adhere to the law relating to the sale of alcohol.
- 3. Refresher training will be given on a regular basis and training records will be kept and made available to a police constable or council officials on request.
- b) The prevention of crime and disorder
- 1. A CCTV system that meets police guidelines shall be installed in the premises, and shall be maintained so that it is fully operational 24 hours daily. Recordings shall be kept for a minimum of 31 days and shall be made available to a police constable or council officers if required. The CCTV footage shall show clear head and shoulder images of all customers entering the premises.
- 2. An alarm system shall be installed in the premises.
- 3. Shutters shall be fitted to the front windows.
- c) Public safety
- 1. All staff shall be trained to deal with any outbreak of fire at the premises. Fire extinguishers shall be kept in the premises and regularly serviced in accordance with fire authority guidelines.
- 2. The licence holder shall comply with any requirements of the fire authority.
- d) The prevention of public nuisance
- 1. Anyone who is drunk or under 18 or appears to be buying alcohol for someone who is drunk or under 18 will be refused the sale of alcohol.
- e) The protection of children from harm
- 1. The 'Challenge 25' scheme shall be operated at all times, and anyone attempting to buy alcohol who appears to be under the age of 25 will have to provide photo ID in the form of an industry approved proof of age identity card, passport or photo driving licence to prove that they are 18 or over. Signs shall be displayed at point of sale saying 'no proof of age - no sale'.
- 2. A refusals/incident book detailing all incidents where alcohol and other age related products are refused and any other relevant incidents shall be kept and made available to authorised officers on request.
- 3. All members of staff making deliveries of alcohol to customers will ask for the appropriate ID (as above) to anyone taking receipt of alcohol to ensure that the customer is 18 or over. Full training will be given to delivery drivers to ensure adherence to the laws relating to the sale of alcohol.
