Licence conditions (9)
  1. No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall be served alcohol or allowed to consume alcohol on the premises.
  2. Alcohol shall only be served to persons over 18 years of age as an ancillary to a substantial table meal which is being consumed on the premises.
  3. The premises shall operate in accordance with the 'challenge 21' scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that whilst alcohol may be sold to a person aged 18 years and over, anyone who appears to be under 21 years of age shall be required to produce proof of their age. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear an prominent position at the premises.
  4. The only proof of age accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo, a passport of a photo UK full driving licence.
  5. A refusals book shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been refused. This book must be made available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
  6. There shall be no new admissions or re-admissions into the premises after 23:30 hours on Friday and Saturday.
  7. Where regulated entertainment is to be provided at any time during the night hours (23:00 to 07:00 hours the following day), noise from the regulated entertainment shall be inaudible at the facade (facade meaning the elevation or elevations of buildings used for habitation that face towards the licensed premises) of nearby residential premises.
  8. Staff shall receive regular training on the prevention of underage sales. Such training shall be recorded and those records shall , on request, be made available to the Licensing Authority.
  9. All staff normally employed at the premises to sell alcohol shall receive training in the responsible Retail of alcohol. The licence holder will consult with Police regarding the nature of that training. Such training shall be recorded and those records shall on request be made available to the Police, Community support officer or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
