Licence conditions (12)
  1. All staff shall be trained in the prevention of sales of alcohol to underage or drunken persons and a record of such training shall be retained at the premises and made available to the Police and an authorised offer of the Licesning Authority on demand.
  2. Management or supervisors shall be on site at all times the premises are open for licensable activities to ensure any problems relating to the sale of alcohol are dealt with promptly.
  3. Contact details of the Police and Safer Neighbourhood Team shall be clearly displayed and available for all staff to report issues of crime and disorder. Prevention of crime and disorder
  4. CCTV shall be installed providing good image quality and covering all internal areas of the licenced premises to which the public have access, together with all entrances and exits. Images shall be retained for a minimum period of 28 days. It should be noted that any retention, use or disclosure of personal information captured on CCTV must be carried out in line with data protection principles.
  5. The premises licence holder shall ensure that a member of staff shall be available to download CCTV footage/images and provide copies to the Police and an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority upon demand and in any event within 24 hours of any such request.
  6. Suitable signage shall be displayed and maintained on the licenced premises advising customers that CCTV is in operation.
  7. High value alcoholic drinks shall be stored/displayed behind the counter in order to promote the prevention of crime and disorder. Public safety
  8. A refusals book shall be operated and maintained on the licenced premises to record all instances of refused sales of alcohol and which shall be made available to the Police and an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority on demand. Prevention of public nuisance
  9. Sales of alcohol shall not to include any super strength lagers, beers or ciders where the strength exceeds 7.5% ABV (Alcohol by volume), for the avoidance of doubt this shall not exclude the sale of ‘specialist’ branded alcoholic beverages.
  10. An incident book shall be operated and maintained on the licenced premises to records all instances of crime and disorder related incidents, and which shall be made available to the Police and an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority on demand. Protection of children from harm
  11. The premises licence holder shall adopt a ‘Challenge 25’ proof of age scheme. The premises licence holder shall operate a requirement for the production of a passport, UK photocard driving licence or PASS accredited photocard, where the individual requesting the supply of alcohol appears to be under the age of 25.
  12. The display of alcohol shall be in a prominent visual position to all staff. All staff in the shop shall have clear sight of all alcohol displayed and therefore will be able to observe the access and sale of alcohol.
