Licence conditions (18)
  1. General Conditions
  2. Where any licensable activity is undertaken in a temporary structure (as a non-exclusive example, a gazebo), a plan shall be prepared showing the layout and the location of the structure unless a similar plan has already been prepared. Crime and Disorder
  3. The Licensee will not adopt any drink promotion activities that undermine a policy of responsible drinking.
  4. All members of staff at the premises will seek ‘credible’ photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
  5. The Licensee will ensure that adequate numbers of stewards are available at all times on the premises when it is open to the general public.
  6. The Licensee will ensure that training is provided to all staff relating to customers who appear drunk.
  7. The Licensee will ensure that the premises is adequately supervised at all times it is open to the general public: either personally or by a manager or fully trained member(s) of staff.
  8. The Licensee will provide staff training on crime prevention issues.
  9. The Licensee will ensure regular liaison is maintained with Suffolk Constabulary. Public Safety Prevention of Public Nuisance
  10. The amplification of music outdoors in connection with the performance of live music and dance and the playing recorded music shall be restricted to no more than 10 occasions in any one calendar year. On 5 of those permitted occasions the amplification of music outdoors shall not be permitted after 23:00 hours.
  11. There shall be no amplification of music in connection with any description of regulated entertainment on the outdoor area referred to as the burial ground on the plan names SWUTNTA3 attached to the application.
  12. The Licensing Authority shall be notified at least 14 days in advance of any event that is to contain the amplification of music outdoors in connection with the performance of live music and dance and the playing of recorded music.
  13. The volume of the amplification system used in connections with any description of regulated entertainment indoors or outdoors shall be controlled such that shall be non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
  14. The Licensee will ensure that all events are adequately stewarded.
  15. In the event of the licensed premises being hire out the Licensee will ensure that a nominated National Trust steward will attend the event.
  16. The Licensee will ensure that all car parks are stewarded when large events are organised. Protection of Children from Harm
  17. The Licensee will ensure that staff receive regularly training on ‘missing child’ procedure.
  18. The Licensee will provide notices in all main areas requesting ‘children be supervised at all times whilst on the licensed premises’.

Licensed hours are the most a premises may open or trade under its licence, not its actual opening times.
