Licence conditions (19)

The age verification scheme operated at the premises shall be challenge 25.The premises shall operate in accordance with the ?challenge 25? scheme. This means that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID.
Notices advertising that the premises operates a ?challenge 25? scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance(s)/ and inside at the premises bar servery area.
The only forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a. proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b. passport; c. EU/UK photo driving Licence
A Challenge book, or other form of record, shall be kept in which the date, time and circumstances under which any challenge made in accordance with the ?challenge 25? scheme shall be recorded.
The ?challenge book?, or other form of record, shall be made available for inspection by any Police or community support Officer or authorised person upon demand.
All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every six months thereafter on the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: a. Operation of the ?challenge 25 scheme; b. types of acceptable ID; c. method of recording challenges; d. likely consequence of making an underage sale;
Alcohol shall only be served to those patrons attending a bona fide function or parish event
No eighteenth (18th) birthday parties will be held on the Premises.
Alcohol shall not be consumed outside of the Premises.
Notices shall be displayed in the bar area advising customers that it is an offence to serve drunks.
A record shall be kept of all persons hiring the premises and such records shall be made available on request to any police officer, PCSO or authorised person.
Fire exits shall be kept closed during functions.
No adult entertainment shall be provided at the premises.
No unaccompanied children shall be permitted on the premises whilst alcohol is being served or consumed in the hall.
When licensable activities are to be carried out on any day, after the cessation of licensable activities and before the premises close to the public, the staff shall check the grounds of the premises and clear them of drinks containers and other litter associated with the licensable activities. (For the avoidance of doubt, the grounds of the licensed premises shall be those areas denoted by the dotted line around the car park to the front of the premises, the footpath along the side of the premises and those areas between the dotted line and the rear of the licensed premises).
Before the premises are hired for a twenty first (21st) birthday party, the booking shall first be approved by the Churches committee.
Clear and legible signage shall at all times be prominently displayed at all exit doors reminding patrons to leave quietly and with consideration to local residents.
Security lighting to the car park to be maintained at all times that the premises are in use under this licence.
No adult entertainment, or activities shall be provided at the premises.
