Licence conditions (19)
  1. CCTV shall be installed on the premises and fully maintained, showing correct date and time information. CCTV to cover internal licensable and consumption areas, beer gardens, outside bar and smoking area. The CCTV shall provide clear images of people entering and exiting the premises. There must always be a minimum of one member of staff during licensable hours, trained to use the CCTV and able to make the data images available at the request of Police or other authorised licensing authority within 24 hours. All CCTV recordings to be retained for a minimum of 31 days.
  2. When live music or recoded music, (other than ancillary recorded music) is provided, there shall be a ratio of 1 SIA door staff for every 40 customers, on duty from 1 hour prior to the entertainment commencing and until the premises is closed and customers dispersed.
  3. The outside bar will be closed from 2230rshrs.
  4. No admittance or re admittance is permitted after 2230hrs. Admittance is only permitted when a customer is dining.
  5. Staff training shall be recorded and updated every 6 months. Training shall cover: • The licensing objectives. • The requirements for ID as part of age verification. • Dealing with an intoxicated person • Dealing with disorderly incidents /disorderly persons • Dealing with drug related activity on a licenced premises. • Recording of any refusal to sell alcohol • Safeguarding of children or a vulnerable adult • Recording and reporting of incidents to police and information to be shared with police to promote the licensing objectives • All training records will be available to an authorised officer on request.
  6. An incident log shall be maintained on the premises, which documents the date and time of any incidents involving the premises, which could undermine the licensing objectives. This shall be completed within 24 hours of the incident, be available upon request of a police officer or an authorised officer and will record the following: I. All crimes reported at the venue II. All ejections of patrons III. Any complaints received concerning crime and disorder IV. All drugs seized or found V. Any incidents of disorder VI. Any faults in the CCTV system, including action taken to remedy VII. Persons banned from the premises
  7. There shall be a record of any refused sale of alcohol. The refusal register shall be inspected on a regular basis (at least weekly) by the DPS and endorsed.
  8. The Premises Licence Holder shall ensure a 'Challenge 25 'policy is adopted on the premises at all times. Signage of the 'Challenge 25 'policy shall be prominently displayed on the premises.
  9. That all outside music in the garden which includes the pods and pergolas will cease at 23:00.
  10. Music indoors is turned off by mid-night Fridays and Saturdays and Sunday - Thursday by 23:30.

  13. th Committee Hearing Decision Notice 15 September 2005 a) To remove all embedded restrictions. b) All doors and windows shall be kept closed from 23.00 hrs including the kitchen and food preparation areas except for access and egress purposes. c) No alcoholic drinks or food sold by the public house shall be consumed outside the building after 23.00 hrs.
  14. Recommendation: The applicant is asked to take steps to eliminate any noise emanating through any air extraction unit. nd Committee Hearing Decision Notice 2 August 2021 (i) to prohibit the playing of music in the garden area (having disapplied the provisions of the Live Music Act 2012) by: a. restricting live music to inside the building only; b. moving the speaker for incidental background music inside the building; and c. the acceptable noise level to be monitored with Environmental Health.
  15. (ii) to restrict the sale of alcohol to accompany meals after 9pm.
  16. (iii) the premises licence holder shall not permit the licenced premises to be hired-out by a third party.
  17. (iv) the Premises Licence Holder shall conduct a risk assessment for any event involving licensable activity arranged by or on behalf of the managements of the premises.
  18. Risk assessments shall be completed at least 48 hours before the event and retained at the premises for 12 months. Risk assessments shall be made available for inspection upon request by Surrey Police or an authorised officer of Tandridge District Council.
  19. (v) the premises licence holder shall not promote or make available pre-paid drinks packages.
