  1. CCTV will be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition.
  2. Cameras shall encompass all ingress and egress to the premises, fire exits and all areas where the sale and supply of alcohol occurs
  3. Equipment must be maintained in good working order, be correctly time and date stamped, recordings must be kept on the hard drive and kept for a period of 31 days and handed to police upon reasonable request.
  4. Access to the equipment and recordings will be provided to the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible authority within 24 hours of the request being made.
  5. Where the matter is time critical, the contact details of the Retailer will be kept on site and will be available to all staff if required. The details will also be made available to the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible authority when requested so access to the equipment and recordings can be provided as soon as is reasonably possible.
  6. In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment, this will be reported to the Police Licensing Officer within 24 hours unless the CCTV will be repaired before that time (west.division.licensing@kent.police.uk)
  7. A refusals log will be kept and maintained at the premises, all staff involved in the sale of alcohol will be fully trained in its use and the following information will be recorded:

  10. Reason for refusal.
  11. Name of staff member making refusal
  12. The refusals log will be available for inspection to any Police Officer, Local Authority Licensing Officer or Trading Standards Officer at any reasonable time.
  13. An incident log will be operated and maintained and will be produced to a relevant officer of the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible authority upon reasonable request.
  14. Alcohol will not be displayed at entrance/exit doors.
  15. Spirits (with the exception of spirit mixers and premixed spirit drinks) will be located behind the counter.
  16. Staff will be trained with regard to their responsibilities in the retail sale of alcohol and regular refresher training will also be undertaken. Training records can be made available for inspection upon reasonable request by the Police or other relevant officers of a responsible authority.
  17. The Premises Licence holder shall be permitted to display bulk stacks, wine towers and chilled promotional offerings throughout the store that may not necessarily be shown on the plan. The locations may be subject to change but will be contained within the red lined licensable area shown on the plan attached to the Premises Licence. The display of bulk stacks may impact on the ability of customers to use exits or escape routes without impediment.
  18. A Challenge 25 policy will be operated at the premise, acceptable forms of identification are a passport, photocard driving licence and PASS accredited identification card.
  19. The premises licence holder will require all third party delivery partners not to deliver alcohol to schools, parks or playgrounds.
  20. The training to staff will be to at least the level demonstrated by the Lockett & Co staff training manual.
  21. The DPS will liaise with the Cornwallis Academy Principal should any issues arise relating to sale of alcohol where necessary.
