General - all four licensing objectives
Alcohol to be sold/supplied in the designated area only (sports hall), during events only and shall not be sold for off-sales.
Alcohol shall only be sold/ supplied to persons attending pre-booked events.
A suitable and sufficient level of SIA security will be provided for each event where alcohol is being served or sold in line with the current guidelines.
Personal Licence Holder will be present when alcohol is being served/sold.
A 'Challenge 25' policy to be operated.
The premises shall maintain & operate an incident, accident & sales refusal log for alcohol. The prevention of crime and disorder
The supply of alcohol shall cease 30 minutes before the event is due to end to assist with gradual dispersal of attendees.
Substantial food and non-intoxicating beverages, including drinking water, shall be available at events where alcohol is being sold or supplied.
Stewards or SIA Security to supervise customers exiting the premises.
A member of management to be present at all times.
Zero drug tolerance policy to be implemented. The Police will be notified of all seizures of controlled drugs. Public safety
Staff with a recognized qualification in first aid to be present during events.
The building's means of escape to be kept clearly signposted, visible and unobstructed in case of an emergency.
Fire warning device, fire fighting equipment, electrical installation and mechanical equipment to be maintained in good condition and full working order at all times.
Sports hall capacity level to be determined by risk assessment for each event and be monitored during events The prevention of public nuisance
1.Stewards or security supervising the area will encourage everyone to leave the area immediately and quietly to prevent congregation outside the building
Notices requesting patrons to leave quietly to be displayed during events.
Noise levels will be monitored throughout the event and any complaints received to be responded to in a time frame that is reasonably practicable.
Queue management system to be implemented for all events.
Windows and doors to be kept closed to prevent noise breakout wherever possible.
Staff or SIA door supervisors when necessary are to remain on site for 30 minutes after events to ensure customers leave quickly, safely and quietly The protection of children from harm
Allow admittance of children at age appropriate events organised specifically for family entertainment only.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.
Notices shall be displayed at all bars indicating it is unlawful for a person under the age of 18 to purchase alcohol or for another person to purchase alcohol on behalf of such person.
