  1. The company maintains comprehensive regulatory compliance procedures and all aspects of the four licensing objectives are covered by these procedures.
  2. In the absence of a personal licence holder, a responsible person aged 18 or over shall be present who has written authorisation from the DPS to sell alcohol.
  3. This person shall be sufficiently trained in licensing matters and be fully competent to deal with all licensing issues that may arise at the premises.
  4. This persons training shall be documented and available for inspection by Police and Council officials.
  5. Recordable CCTV to be of a standard and specification as agreed by the local Police which must be acceptable for evidential use if required.
  6. The positioning of CCTV cameras shall also be subject to change if the Police feel this is necessary.
  7. Imagery obtained must be retained for a minimum of 31 days on a rolling basis and must be playable on any Windows based computer without the need for any enhancement or additional software.
  8. The system should be working and maintained at all times.
  9. A copy of CCTV footage must be made available and given to Police and Council officials upon request.
  10. Fire safety measures and procedures are in operation at the store in accordance with Fire Safety Regulations.
  11. Provision will be made for the disabled to ensure safe evacuation in the event of fire or other emergency and general access to the store.
  12. All planning requirements will be met and procedures established to prevent noise from deliveries.
  13. Measures will be in place to ensure proper disposal of all waste.
  14. A suitable training package shall be in place in order that all staff involved with the sale of alcohol shall be sufficiently trained in licensing matters and be aware of their responsibilities.
  15. Records shall be kept of this training, dated and signed by the staff member and trainer.
  16. Alternatively staff who are not suitably trained in licensing matters shall always seek approval for sale of alcohol from a personal licence holder before completing the transaction.
  17. All alcohol shall be displayed within direct line of sight to staff at the tills.
  18. A written log shall be kept of all refusals including refusals to sell alcohol.
  19. The holder of the premises licence shall ensure that the refusals log is properly maintained and this shall involve, but is not limited to, nominating in writing a responsible person to check and sign it on a weekly basis.
  20. The holder of the premises licence shall ensure that every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises shall produce means of identification - passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID proving that individual to be 18 years of age or older. If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made to or for that person.
  21. All staff shall be trained to challenge every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age and to refuse service where individuals cannot produce acceptable means of identification.
  22. Such training shall be provided not less than every six months, and written records shall be kept of all training and refresher training.
  23. 'Challenge 25' posters shall be displayed in prominent positions at the premises.
  24. All displays of alcohol will be appropriately ticketed to advise purchasers that it is an offence for those under 18 to purchase alcohol.

Licensed hours are the most a premises may open or trade under its licence, not its actual opening times.
