Licence conditions (11)
  1. During the night hours (23:00 hours to 07:00 hours the following day) no articles or materials (including waste) shall be placed in the external bins, bin storage area or other external parts of the premises.
  2. (Condition 1 above was imposed by the Licensing Sub Committee on 4 May 2011)
  3. The CCTV system serving the premises shall a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. make and retain images that include the entrance doors and the alcohol display areas and will be capable of providing an image which is regarded as identification standard; and c. show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made.
  4. All CCTV images/recordings shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days and subject to compliance with Data Protection Legislation shall be made available for viewing by any police, community support or other authorised person upon demand.
  5. Subject to compliance with Data Protection legislation an original, or a copy, of CCTV images/recordings shall be provided upon demand to any police, community support or authorised person. Copies shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
  6. All cashiers shall be trained to record refusals of sales of alcohol in a refusals register. The register shall contain: o Details of the time and date the refusal was made; o The name of the staff member refusing the sale; o Description of the person attempting to purchase; o Details of the alcohol the person attempted to purchase. This register will be available for inspection by a police officer, police community safety officer, or authorised person on request. The register will be kept in English.
  7. All spirits shall be displayed behind a staffed counter where they cannot be directly removed by customers.
  8. All mixed alcoholic drinks under 10% abv and beers, cider & perry over 6% abv shall be located in an area within clear sight of staff.
  9. Signs shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position both inside and outside the premises warning adults that it is an offence to buy alcohol on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age.
  10. Staff shall receive regular training on the prevention of under age sales. Such training shall be recorded and subject to compliance with Data Protection legislation these records shall on request be made available for inspection by any police, community support or authorised person.
  11. Clear and legible signage shall, at all times, be prominently displayed at the exit doors reminding patrons leaving the premises late at night to do so quietly and with consideration so as not to disturb local residents.
