  1. The CCTV system serving the premises shall: (a) be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; For clarification this means that no alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason; (b) make and retain clear images that include the entrance doors and the alcohol display areas and will be capable of providing an image which is regarded as identification standard; (c) show an accurate date and time that the recordings/ images were made; (d) all recordings/ images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days and subject to compliance with the Data Protection Legislation and shall be made available for viewing by any police, community support officer or other authorised person, upon demand; (e) the CCTV system must be able to export recorded images to a removable means, for example CD/DVD and must have its own software enabled to allow playback/review; and (f) the precise positions of the cameras shall be agreed, subject to compliance with Data Protection legislation, with the police from time to time.
  2. 2 Clear and legible signage shall at all times be prominently displayed at the exit doors reminding patrons leaving the premises late at night to do so quietly and with consideration so as not to disturb local residents.
  3. All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every six months thereafter on: (a) the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: (i) operation of the "Challenge 25" scheme; (ii) types of acceptable ID; (iii) method of recording challenges; and (iv) likely consequence of making an underage sale. (b) refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; and (c) proxy sales;
  4. Training records shall be kept at the premises and shall be made available for inspection by a police officer, community support officer or any authorised officer of the Licensing Authority on request.
  5. All cashiers shall be trained to record refusals of sales of alcohol in a refusals register. The register shall contain: (i) details of the time and date the refusal was made; (ii) the identity of the staff member refusing the sale; and (iii) details of the alcohol the person attempted to purchase.
  6. The refusals register shall be available for inspection by a police officer, community support officer or authorised officer of the Licensing Authority on request.
  7. An incidents register shall be maintained at the premises recording: (i).all incidents of crime and disorder occurring at the premises; (ii) details of occasions when the police are called to the premises.
  8. The incidents register will be available for inspection by a police officer, community support officer or authorised officer of the Licensing Authority on request.
