Licence conditions (8)
  1. Together with for the purposes of paragraph 6(5) ofSchedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 all other licensable activities which may be carried out at the premises by virture of the justices licence issued under the Licensing Act 1964 and existing as of the date of the licence, which include but may not be limited to the following.
  2. Private entertainment that is to say dancing and music, may be provided and promoted for private gain
  3. The exhibition of films shall be restricted to video recordings shown on T.V. screens and on amusement machines;
  4. The garden/ patio at the rear of the premises shall not be used after 23.00 hours; and
  5. Prominent clear and legible signs shall be displayed in the garden/ patio advising customers of the 23.00 closure of that area and requesting them to respect the needs of local residents and leave the premises and the area quietly.
  6. The age verification scheme operated at the premises shall be Challenge
  7. The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. This means that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID. The only forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a) proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b) passport; c) UK photo driving licence; or d) other form of ID as agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority Notices advertising that the premises operates a "Challenge 25" scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance(s)/and inside at the premises bar servery area.
  8. A book, or other form of record shall be kept (a version of which must be in English) in which shall be recorded the date, time and circumstances of the following: a) any challenge made in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme and; b) any disorder, ejection or other relevant incident that occurs on the premises This book or record shall be kept on the premises at all times they are open and made available for inspection forthwith upon demand by any police or community support officer or authorised person . Management shall regularly check the book to ensure all staff are using it.
