  1. General Conditions
  2. The Licensee will ensure that the Spirit Group’s ‘Approach to Responsible Drinking’ is adhered to at all times. Crime and Disorder
  3. The Licensee will only use door supervisors licensed by the SIA and employed from a reputable company.
  4. The Licensee shall implement a ‘Strict No Drugs’ Policy.
  5. In the event that a DJ is used for regulated entertainment involving recorded music the Licensee will ensure that a public announcement is made requesting that customers leave the premises quietly.
  6. The Licensee will report all instances of crime and disorder to the Suffolk Constabulary and a record of the incident will entered in a log book which must be kept on the premises at all times. Public Safety

  8. The Licensee will provide and install a noise-limiting device in accordance with guidance from the Council’s Head of Health.
  9. The Licensee will take the appropriate steps (e.g. signage and/or sufficient staff on site) to ensure that customers behave in a quiet manner when using the outside area (s) of the premises and when departing.
  10. If text or radio pagers are available to report incidents to the Police and other authorities, the Licensee will ensure that these are provided to appropriate persons during the hours when the premises is open to the general public.
  11. After 23:30 hrs all external doors and windows must be kept closed, other than for access and egress when amplified music and amplified speech is taking place.
  12. The volume of the amplification system for any description of musical entertainment shall be strictly controlled so that noise levels are non-intrusive at the boundaries of nearby residential properties.
  13. A responsible person shall monitor the music levels outside the building, and implement any changes to reduce the noise levels in accordance with any reasonable request by an authorised officer of the Council immediately and ensure that volume is maintained at the reduced level.
  14. Smoking only will be allowed after 23:30hrs, in the area delineated on a plan of the premises, which has been submitted to the Licensing Authority of Suffolk Coastal District Council (Drawing Number 5913/C4403/01) and approved by the Licensing Authority before use. The boundaries of this approved area will be suitably marked on the premises to allow the area to be easily identified. Protection of Children from Harm
  15. The Licensee will ensure that only suitable entertainment is provided when children are on the premises.
  16. The Licensee will ensure that children are accompanied at all times by an adult while they are on the premises.
  17. All members of staff at the premises will seek ‘credible’ photographic proof of age evidence from any person who appears to be under the age of 18 and who is seeking to purchase or consume alcohol on the premises.
  18. The Licensee will ensure that non-alcoholic drinks are available at all times when the premises are open to the public.
