Recordable CCTV to a standard and format agreed by the Police as acceptable for evidential use if required. As a minimum any copies burned off for Police must be capable of being played on any Windows based system without the need for further software and without the need for any enhancement. This system must be capable of recording the outside area of the premises in addition to the inside and sited in consultation with the Police Crime Prevention Officer. All imagery must be retained for a minimum of 31 days and copies must be made available to the Police/Local Authority on demand. This system must be maintained and kept in good working order at all times. All incidents of a criminal nature must be reported to the Police and an incident log must be kept with a copy from the CCTV on record for any Police action in identifying the offenders.
Staff to be fully trained on CCTV in order to provide recordings upon request to the responsible authority.
