  1. All staff who work at the premises shall be trained on serving alcohol responsibly through an CPD certified online training portal. This will require the completion and passing of a multiple choice exam. This exam will educate staff on their responsibilities as an alcohol server, identify the responsibilities of a Designated Premises Supervisor, identify the effects of alcohol on the body, understanding age verification policies, to recognise false or inadequate identification and to be aware of how best to refuse service and keep a record of it.
  2. All staff working at the premises will have a DBS check carried out on them prior to them starting. As part of the ongoing staff training they will be trained on understanding age verification policies, to recognise false or inadequate identification and what ID shall be accepted eg: Proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo, passport, UK photo driving licence.
  3. Staff shall be trained and fully understanding of age restrictions, their responsibilities as alcohol servers.
  4. The CCTV covering the premises shall cover a wide area of the property including all entrances. The CCTV images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist equipment. The CCTV system serving the premises will be maintained, fully operational and in good working order at all times.
  5. Any children visiting the site shall be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  6. No gaming machines shall be present on the premises.
  7. This means that whilst aclohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears to be under 25 years of age shall be received to provide proof of an acceptable form of ID.
  8. There shall be no adult entertainment or services provided at the premises.
