Licence conditions (15)
  1. Licensable activities shall be permitted in the area on the plan, attached as Annex 4 to this licence, shown as the ground floor 'bar' area and the first floor 'function room/restaurant' only.
  2. Where live or recorded music is to be played at any time during the night hours (23:00 hours to 07:00 hours the following day), noise from the playing of live or recorded music shall be inaudible at the facade of nearby residential premises and at all other times shall not cause a nuisance.
  3. Late night refreshment shall be provided for consumption on the premises only.
  4. Where any varied licensable activity or later opening hours to which non-standard timings apply are to be put into operation, an admission restriction shall be put into effect prohibiting entry or re-entry into the premises after 23:00 hours.
  5. Clear and legible signage shall at all times be prominently displayed at all exit doors reminding patrons to leave quietly.
  6. No articles or materials (including waste) shall be placed or deposited in the bins or bottle banks to the rear of the premises between 23:00 hours and 07:00 hours the following day.
  7. The age verification scheme operated at the premises shall be Challenge
  8. The premises shall operate in accordance with the 'Challenge 25' scheme. This means that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years or over, any person who appears under 25 years of age shall be required to provide proof of age using an acceptable form of ID. Notices advertising that the premises operates a 'Challenge 25' scheme shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises entrance(s)/and inside at the premises bar servery area. The only forms of ID that may be accepted in respect of the sale of alcohol shall be a: a) proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo; b) passport; c) EU/UK photo driving licence; or d) other form of ID as agreed in writing by the Licensing Authority A book, or other form of record, shall be kept in which the date, time and circumstances under which any challenge made in accordance with the 'Challenge 25' scheme shall be recorded.
  9. The 'challenge book', or other form of record, a version of which must be kept in English, shall be made available for inspection by any police or community support officer or authorised person upon demand.
  10. All staff whose responsibilities include the retail sale of alcohol shall receive training on induction and every six months thereafter. a) the prevention of underage sales of alcohol which shall include: i. operation of the 'Challenge 25' scheme; ii. types of acceptable ID; iii. method of recording challenges; iv. likely consequence of making an underage sale. b) refusing sales of alcohol to persons who appear to be drunk; c) proxy sales;
  11. Film Exhibitions
  12. The admission of children, that is persons under 18 years of age, to the exhibition of any film shall be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) or by the London Borough of Bexley.
  13. Together with for the purposes of paragraph 6(5) of Schedule 8 to the Licensing Act 2003 all other licensable activities which may be carried out at the premises by virtue of the justices licence issued under the Licensing Act 1964 and existing as of the date of this licence, which include but may not be limited to the following:
  14. Public entertainment may be provided by the reproduction of wireless (including television) broadcasts or of programme included in any other service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990) other than a sound or television broadcasting service, or public entertainment by way of music and singing only which is provided solely by the reproduction of recorded sound; and
  15. ii) Private entertainment, that is to say dancing and music, may be provided and promoted for private gain.
