  2. Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the operating schedule
  3. a) General - all 4 licensing objectives:
  4. 1. Recorded Music shall be played indoors only.
  5. 2. The licence shall not be used until such time as the fire service has carried out an inspection and then notified the licensing authority that the works have been completed satisfactorily.
  6. 3. Ongoing Health and Safety, Risk Assessment and Fire Training shall be provided to members of staff.
  7. 4. In house weekly testing of fire alarms, fire extinguisher locations and fire exit accessibility shall be undertaken.
  8. 5. In house monthly testing of emergency lighting shall be undertaken.
  9. b) The prevention of crime and disorder:
  10. 1. Intoxicating liquor shall only be served to persons taking a meal.
  11. 2. Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor shall be equally available.
  12. c) Public safety:
  13. 1. There shall be non-smoking dining areas in the premises.
  14. 2. Emergency exit signs shall be clearly visible.
  15. 3. There shall be regular servicing and testing of fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lights, extracts and portable appliances.
  16. 4. The premises supervisor and some other staff members shall hold a hygiene certificate.
  17. 5. Ongoing Health and Safety, risk assessment and fire training shall be provided to members of staff.
  18. d) The prevention of public nuisance:
  19. 1. Only background music shall be played in the premises.
  20. 2. There shall be lockable external windows and doors.
  21. 3. A kitchen extract system shall be installed to take smells and grease away from habitable areas.
  22. e) The protection of children from harm:
  23. 1. Children shall only be admitted to the premises if accompanied by an adult.
  24. 2. There shall be a non-smoking section in the dining area.
  25. 3. There shall be no activities on the premises that would be harmful to children.
  26. 4. High chairs shall be provided for babies and young children.
