  1. All staff normally employed at the premises to sell alcohol shall receive regular training in the responsible retail of alcohol, including the prevention of under age sales. Such training shall take place immediately on induction and at 6 monthly intervals thereafter. This training shall be recorded. The training records shall be made immediately available on request to the Police, community support officer or an authorised officer of the Licensing Authority.
  2. The CCTV system serving the premises shall: a. be maintained fully operational and in good working order at all times; b. make and retain clear images that include the points of sale of alcohol and facial images of the purchasers of the alcohol; c. show an accurate date and time that the recordings were made and all images shall be retained for a period of not less than 31 days
  3. The original, or a copy of the CCTV recording, shall be provided upon demand to any police officer, community support officer or authorised person.
  4. Copies of CCTV recordings shall be provided in a format that can be viewed on readily available equipment without the need for specialist software.
  5. No alcohol shall be sold if the CCTV equipment is inoperative for any reason
  6. The premises shall operate in accordance with the "Challenge 25" scheme. This scheme operates on the basis that whilst alcohol may be sold to persons aged 18 years and over, anyone who appears under 25 years of age will be asked for ID. Notices to this effect shall be displayed in a clear and prominent position at the premises. Acceptable forms of identification are a proof of age card bearing the PASS hologram logo, an EU photocard full driving licence, passport, or any other form of identification approved in writing by the licensing authority.
  7. A "Challenge Book" , or similar record, shall be kept at the premises in which must be recorded forthwith the date, time and circumstances under which any attempted purchase by a young customer has been refused, or any incident of crime, disorder, or anti-social behaviour takes place on the premises, including the premises forecourt. This book or other form of record must be made immediately available for inspection by any police officer, community support officer or authorised person upon demand.
  8. At all times when alcohol is sold there shall be a personal licence holder in the retail area of the shop.
