There must be sufficient staff on duty to fulfil the licence terms and conditions to prevent crime and disorder. 2. All staff must be trained in their responsibilities in relation to the sale of alcohol, especially in regards to drunkenness and under age persons. Records must be kept of training and refresher training.
A high quality digital CCTV system is installed, which covers all parts of the shop to which the Public have access and to include thearea immediately outside the premises entrance, the licensee shall ensure that there is a camera viewing the entrance to the premises.The images to be retained for 30 days minimum, and made available on request to the Police and Local Authority. The lighting of thepremises will be such that the CCTV operates at the best possible level. The CCTV must operate at all times the premises are open to thepublic. A member of staff able to operate the CCTV system fully, and download images, must be on duty at all times the premises are open to the public.4. Incidents of a criminal nature must be reported to the police.
Sales of beers and lagers in excess of 6.5% ABV will not take place.6. An Incident book must be kept to record all refusals relating to the sale of alcohol. This record must be produced to the Police orLicensing Authority for inspection on request.
All customers are asked to leave quietly. Clear and legible notices must be prominently displayed to remind customers to leave quietly and to have regard to our neighbours.
"Challenge 25" scheme must be operated at the premises by which any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 25 shall be asked to provide identification (ID) to prove that they are over the age of 18 years. Only the UK Photo Full Driving Licence, Passport orgovernment approved PASS cards will be accepted as proof of age. Posters must be displayed informing customers of this policy. Theseposters will be displayed around the store and at the point of sales. All staff must read and sign the challenge 25 policy before makingsales of alcohol. These records must be kept and produced to the Police or Local Authority upon request.
